I just heard that 2 of my rec girls went AOII! One at Bama and one at Tennessee! I'm so excited for them! :D

my niece participated in recruitment at ut-austin. she had a great time, met so many nice women-pnms and sorority members-attended pref. parties, but just wasn't feeling it and decided that ultimately, greek life was not for her. she withdrew after prefs and is perfectly happy with her decision, so i am too!

Please include them in the count- just call them my panhellenic girls!

Both excellent chapters!

Tennessee Results

These are the results of girls I know from Tennessee- I posted them earlier in another thread but I think they need to go here if folks are counting:
1-KKG
4-Tri Delt
1-Chi O
1-ADPi
1- KD
2-Alpha Chi
1-Phi Mu
3- Delta Gamma

Yay for an ASA pearl! Congratulations to her! Do you by any chance know how many new members the ASA chapter at Murray State got?

And now finally the results from the University of Texas!!!

4 Chi Omegas (including 3 of my son's best girlfriends!!)
1 Kappa Kappa Gamma
1 Tri Delta

finally, 1 Pi Phi!!!!

Unfortunately, 2 girls dropped out before pledging, but all in all it was a successful rush for all our girls:)

According to her post in Irishpipes' recruitment thread, all the chapters at Murray State made quota of 22.

SWTXBelle 08-31-2007 09:51 AM

Yep - all 5 MSU chapters pledged at least quota - 22. We don't have an ASA rep on the Alumnae Panhellenic:rolleyes: , so I don't have any word about further snap bids or COB members

Yay! A friend of mine's little sister went Delta Zeta at a school in Texas. I'm glad she joined the Greek community and happy for them because she is such a sweet girl.

melsigkap 08-31-2007 08:26 PM

My best friend's younger sister is going through at University of Maryland! This is pretty exciting, because I've gotten to know her pretty well and I think pledging could really make Maryland home for her, considering she's out of state and doesn't know anybody!

She is a Sigma Kappa (sister) and Zeta Tau Alpha (mom) legacy. I'm so excited to see what happens!

(Edited to take out the state she's from, I want to keep her as anonymous as possible)
