...basically.

lostnfound117 01-20-2004 05:37 PM

i thought sunday's episode was o.k.

i never thought of carrie wanting kids....this may bring about a breakup with her luva, so big can come back in the picture huh?

AKA2D '91 01-21-2004 09:19 AM

I didn't realize "Carrie" was 38.

I lmao when Sam asked the nun if they could masturbate. ONLY Samantha!

DaddyzLilGrl 01-22-2004 02:33 PM

I really like Sam & Smith, I don't think we would have seen Sam go through the more realistic/humanistic side of romance, love & sex with the city if she hadn't truly fell for him. The spoiler I read in a magazine showed (you know what.... I won't ruin it for ya'll) I wonder how they are going to introduce Big's real name? Could it be as Carrie recites her marital vows???? I Carrie Bradshaw take you "?" (insert name here)...... nahhhhh.

RedefinedDiva 02-08-2004 10:58 PM

HC I watched the last 10 minutes of the episode with my mouth wide open? Lexie fell out of a window!!  Talk about your freak accidents.

I feel sorry for Miranda and Carrie because I know how it feels. I am Carrie in the situation. I live my life thinking about what I would do without my friends, job, etc. but never think about living for what I want and going with how I feel. I have had friends try to influence my decisions (and it has worked many times), but when they are ready to do things and take their lives in a new direction, they want your full support with no questions asked. And I am usually the friend that does just that. Carrie has inspired me. I know that their friendship will stand up to the challenge though.

I hope that Charlotte can get pregnant in the final episodes, but that seems to be wishful thinking. It is too hilarious that Elizabeth Taylor is labled as a "tramp." Eight doggy partners? That's crazy!

I hope that Smith and Sam will last. They are a good couple.

Miranda needs to GET OVER IT! Let Carrie live her live. If Carrie is making a mistake, THEN CARRIE HAS TO DECIDE THAT IT IS A MISTAKE...NOT MIRANDA. Miranda needs to get with HER FAMILY and chill out.

Will BIG make a final appearance?

I think that Miranda is being VERY selfish. Hopefully, Big will make an appearance. It wouldn't be the same without him.

One of my friends saw the filming of one of the final episodes of SATC. Magic 8 Ball says, "Most likely." ;)

I didn't like the Splat episode. People used to have those windows in NYC, but I think that they are illegal now.

I read an article in Parade Magazine last week, and Chris Noth...aka...Big is suppose to appear in the last episode.

I actually don't think Miranda is being selfish...I think she'd be less than a friend to not voice her opinion if that's the way she feels. If my friend elected to NOT have children and move to PARIS because of a man and "love"...I'd be telling her to think twice too. I mean I know she feels she's getting old and she wants a man,....but that is quite a bit to give up when a man hasn't even mentioned marriage.

AKA2D '91 02-10-2004 10:16 AM

Does Carrie REALLY want marriage? She had that opportunity with Aidan and SHE blew it. Friends have their opinion(s), but ultimately it's that person's life. Let her live it and "you" live yours. If Carrie makes a mistake and leave for Paris, then Carrie has to adjust and make changes. If Miranda is a real friend, then she will be there for her during the good, bad, and ugly. :D

OF course its her decision in the end and she'll have to live with it...but what are friends for if they can't be honest with you about how they feel? Its a time to let it go...but I applaud Miranda for being the sensible one. She is giving up EVERYTHING for him and he's offering her some fantasy in Paris. SHe knows no one over there...and its not like she will be able to start a family because HE can't/won't...Again, that is quite a bit to give up for a man.. Relationships are about compromise and he didn't meet her half way on anything...it was like you either come with me or there is no us... I see that as being controlling and not a good basis for a relationship...definitely not a person i'd move thousands of miles away with...and I'd be less than a friend to make my friend think about that aspect of it.

However I guess if you're over 35, you take the first thing that comes along for fear of being alone.

I don't even know about that one. You'd have to ask someone over 35 if that's true. :D

lostnfound117 02-10-2004 12:07 PM

i guess i'm not liking where i see the show ending. i don't like the russian at all for carrie. i mean, if she was gonna have this anxiety attack about being alone, then i kind of wish she would have at least stayed with aidan. there is absolutely no chemistry between carrie and the russian. i honestly think her character feels like all of her friends have someone, and she didn't so she's settling....not sure if i will enjoy the last two episodes, as this past one bothered me alot. i hate to see carrie giving up so much....

at least i get to see big one more time though :)
