Thanks a lot, Gina. It's just really a trying time for us right now because Hubby's sister just had a baby 2 months ago and his brother's baby is due any day now. It's also hard because we were so excited and told just about eveybody we knew. Now we have to kinda "untell" people and it's hard.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers. Over the weekend, I had some cramping and bleeding. Hubby took me to the ER and they did an ultrasound. The ultrasound revealed that I had a type of miscarriage called a blighted ovum. This is when the egg is fertilized and you get pregnant but the egg dies either before it gets to the uterus or some weeks after. In the meanwhile, your body produces all the other things that you need for pregnancy. (It's kind of like your body is getting ready for the prom but your date stood you up.) Once this happens, your body will either expel everything on its own or you can have it surgically removed. My OB decided that it's taking too long for my body to get rid of everything naturally (thus setting me up for infection) and scheduled me for surgery tomorrow afternoon. I am a little bit frightened at being put to sleep, but I know that this is for the best. Hubby and I have been talking about this and praying over this for the last few days and we have to come to a sort of quiet acceptance about this even though we are very disappointed that we won't be having a baby right now. Just please pray for us during this difficult time. Thanks a lot, ya'll.
Hey Sistergreek,

I won't start in with all the cliches, but just know that I'll be praying for you and your husband. I'm really, really sorry to hear about this.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers. The surgery was successful and I am at home resting comfortably but I am a little tired, though. Thank you all once again.

My bad everyone, I forgot to update. My cousin is doing better, but still in a lot of pain.

ETA: Her lung has reinflated. So thanks all for praying for her. :)

I don't have a prayer request, but just wanted to encourage all those dealing with their own illness, sadness, or that of a loved one.

The Lord is a great physician and is working miracles everyday. Stay faithful in your prayer and never have doubt in His plan. He knows just what he is doing, He does not lie, and He will never fail you or forsake you.

The Lord has healed me and I'm so grateful, but know that He can do the same for you.

Hello!

It has been a while since I posted here although I check in daily. This week my chapter has suffered a great loss as two of our sorors passed away within one day of each other. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet one of them. The Soror I did have the the opportunity to was a Diamond Soror with 75 years of Service to our beautiful sisterhood. Please pray for my chapter as we process this time in our lives.

Just pray for me that I get this job. It's what I really want to do with my career and I believe it can open alot of opportunities for me.

Please stand in agreement with me as well for an important job interview that I have tomorrow. I really want this position and have prepared to the best of my ability, even though the devil has been trying his best to distract me.

This job will open up new opportunities for me as well. :)

Thanks

Prayers are wonderous things

I want to thank everyone who took the time to pray for a stranger (that's me) and her family.

It was very much appreciated in our time of need. Two months since my sister's death and we seem to be going strong on a day by day basis. I want to thank you all for your concern.

Much love and respect due,
Kaisha

MY request isn't for me but for my Older Sister.

I was wondering could you all pray for her. My sister has been married since she was 18 (she is now 21) and is in so much pain, she is $20,000+ in debt because her husband is mad at her so he hasn't been paying bills (she was going to leave him had a place set up and everything but he begged her and she thought it would be best for her son if they stayed, he is the type of person who will suffer as long as he is hurting you). My sister is trying to leave him and start over but she has no clue what to do and has been talking about how she doesn't even see a point in living and how her son wouldn't need someone like her for letting this happen.
I wold just like for everyone to pray for strength and knowledge for my sister to get thru this time.

I really love my Sister and would feel so lost with out her she is the person I tell my problems to (I am only 16). It just hurts to see her go thru this, I lover her so much.

Thanks

Please add me to the "prayer list". It seems like that cards are consistently being stacked up against me. I am currently going through some major life transitions, and the anxiety and fear of not being totally in control is really starting to get to me and depress me. Pray that I receive the strangth to leave it up to God and keep on steppin'.

And to all of you who post prayer requests, know that your GC Fam always has you and yours in our prayers.
