Originally from San Jose, CA, an alumni from Gamma Alpha, San Diego State 1986. Boy do I feel old now.
I reside in Round Rock/Austin TX area. I work blocks away from the University of Texas campus and the Alpha Xi Delta house after the renovations is absolutely beautiful.

I'm an alumna of Epsilon - University of South Dakota.

I'm also from Sigma!! Just graduated though. I was born the year you graduated, sorry if that makes you feel old... :D

Yeah! I'm soooo interested to hear how the new program goes at Iowa. Are you close to Iowa City? One of these days RFM has to start working in their favor instead of punishing the rest of Panhel. But last year's girls appear very pretty. Hopefully they have personalities and recruitment skills to match!

And yes, I AM old. I was trying to add in a pic of my pledge class, but I'm so old I can't figure out how to do it! :eek:

Fall 2008 was the first year with an ELC to help us recruit, which helped us a lot! We actually started picking out girls we really liked instead of just taking everybody & anybody. So we now have high quality girls. Our only problem is Corp. Board. We did really well during the Partially Structured Semi-Formal (Spring) Recruitment this past semester. Every single one of the girls are living in and really excited about Fall FR (so I'm told!). And we love them all!

Recruiters for Spring Recruitment

PPS: I would love to go back and help but they haven't asked me, and it might be harder to since they changed FR this year. It's over 2 weekends instead of 1 week straight

Don't plan on getting an invitation to help! They are busy, and people (not just sorority girls) are lousy at asking for help.

But I'm thrilled to hear that selection was taken more seriously by FHQ, and hopefully that's continuing this year.

Have you joined one of the alumnae chapters in Chicago? They're GREAT groups, and if you're interested in national involvement, you'll meet women there who can help.

Never really introduced myself but I'm from the Zeta Chi chapter at UNC-Wilmington.

New to Greek Life and new to this website. I do not really know how to classify myself, technically I'm alum, but I'm in grad school at GSU, so I'm going to be initiated at and help out with the Delta Xi chapter.
