Super prayers for that one, carnation. That is so sad, I don't even have words. :(

We just heard that my fiance's grandmother has been rushed to emergency surgery to repair an extremely rare complication from a colonoscopy. Prayers and positive energy that she will make it through.

A friend of mine who lives in Tampa now was in a serious car accident early Sunday morning, around 1 AM. He hit a tree, went airborne, hit another tree and landed on a cement wall. He has broken bones in his head and face, a broken collarbone and ribs, a punctured lung, broken sternum, pelvis and tail bone. He literally shouldn't be alive. A trauma nurse lives across the street from where he wrecked, and she ran out and cleared his airway and kept him calm until Life Flight arrived.
He has gotten so much better this week. He will only have to have surgery on his arm/hand. He is able to sit up and talk a little bit. But, the pain is getting worse and all of the meds he is on make him dizzy and makes physical and respiratory therapy very difficult. Please please please keep him and his sweet family in your thoughts/prayers. Every little prayer must count, he's got a lot of angels watching over him, seen and unseen. Thank you all <3 |
^ wow, it sounds like the angels are pulling for him already!
On the personal front...I could use some prayers. There is an opportunity for me to move back to Pittsburgh. And that would mean that I would get to be with my husband again, which is what I want more than the world. I thought I was strong enough to do this, but I'm not. It's not ok. I need to be close to my family. I need my partner. I might even say that I need the Midatlantic as well. The competition for this is SUPER high, and I'm hoping I can distinguish myself in some way. I can use any help you can give. Trying this novena this week: http://www.entrepr3neur.com/20090716...he-unemployed/ There's also a prayer to St Joseph... |
PA, consider it done. I know what it's like to live without your family, especially your husband, and it's horrible.

i need all the prayer and positive energy i can get this coming week. my mother has been having back pain issues and went in for an mri, they found lesions on several different areas of her body (bone and organs) and are in the process of doing tests etc. im having a really hard time because shes in so much pain and my empathy gene keeps kicking in and i know i won't be okay until she is better. its very scary right now considering both her parents died young b/c of cancers. and im coming up on finals, so these next couple of weeks are going to be very difficult and stressful for me and my family. were preparing for the worst but hoping and praying for the best.
sorry for being so sad, i just need to tell someone and get it off my chest. |
Prayers for all -
Psalm 22:24 For He has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; He has not hidden His face from him but has listened to his cry for help. |
Whoa, y'all must have the direct line or something...
First thing this morning I got a call from a prospect. Not the one I referred to above, but one that I thought I didn't really have a chance with but submitted to anyways. It isn't exactly Pittsburgh, but it is super close and it would put me in a location to be near friends and fam. Phone interview is on Thursday! |
Hooray, PhoenixAzul!
Thank God - sounds like St. Cayetano came through for you! |
Good work PA. I will pray it for you and you all pray for me. Waiting to hear from two job prospects! Job one, did an interview via Skype, the future is now. Job 2 - I was contacted and told I am in the running. Waiting to hear about an interview.
Praying for the rest of you all. |
