This is the Amsale dress itself. The belt was added by the store.

Doesn't this start back up in January?

Are they ever going back to Klienfeld? Atlanta just didn't do it for me.

Ditto. I could not get into Atlanta for whatever reason.

FYI: The new season is back at Kleinfeld and starts on Fri.

YESSSSS!

*bump*

Has anyone been watching this season? I feel like they're showing more Pnina dresses now than they were before.

Last night's episode with the "Brady Bunch" family kind of rubbed me the wrong way. There is something so unappealing about a dad/step-dad telling his future wife that he wants her to wear the sexier, more revealing gown in front of their children.

AnchorAlum 02-26-2011 04:40 PM

Agree. I don't like that corset look style anyway, and haven't seen a single one on a bride that I thought was particularly elegant or classic, but I wasn't a fan of that couple to begin with.

The dancer went way over her budget but boy that gown was made for her. She looked amazing.

My fave ugly Pnina of the season = the PINK ballgown with the see-through top.

Someone has to remember it. It was worn by an older-ish bride (I think she was 40?)

CRAZY. lol.

Kappamd 02-26-2011 06:54 PM

^^^YES. Wtf was that thing? Aside from being hideous, it wasn't the least bit flattering to the bride who wore it.

joliebelle 02-26-2011 08:41 PM

Uh...yes. Wasn't that the bride that Vera said that she had to add more fabric so that her "butterfly" wouldn't show?

FSUZeta 02-26-2011 08:51 PM

those see-though, boned bodice dresses are just tacky.

Tulip86 02-26-2011 10:56 PM

Pnina only made one dress I liked, a few seasons ago for a girl from an Indian culture who wanted a red dress

So, I came across this video about why the staff members wear black, which makes perfect sense:

I haven't been to a bridal salon where the consultants DIDN'T wear black. But I agree, it makes perfect sense.
