Haaaaaate it! I NEVER thought Iwould want Jay-Z to just go away, but after hearing that song and him on the song I do. Far away. For a long time.

I was through with Jay Z after the weak rap he had on upgrade u. It was horrible, delivery and words

I could never get past I can do for you what Martin did for the people on that song. Just can't do it.

Lets see...

1. "My lipgloss is cool. My lipgloss be poppin!" Few things incur my wrath like this does.
2. "Ay Bay Bay" - nuff said...

There's a male vocal on it that sounds like Chris Brown, but I'm not sure. Whoever the male vocal is, he's singing, "You can be my Cinderella ella ella"

I'm not liking this song called "Pocket" by a DC crew...can't remember their name right now...but the chorus "put me in your POOOCKET!" drives me crazy :mad::mad: D.C., y'all can do better :cool:;)

Party Like a Rock Star by Shop Boyz-I think it's one of the dumbest songs on the radio, but my husband LOVES it!

I am SOOOOOOO tired of hearing that darn Tank song....it is too heavy in the radio rotation...here I am getting crunk in the car...in a good mood...maybe listen to that song talking about "I'm so crispy"...and then the next thing I hear is "Please don't go; please don't go"...just messes up everything. If they didn't play it every 15 min I might still like the song.............okay I'm done:D.

Now the TGT remix is out so you'll probably hear it even more. But the song annoys me as well.:mad:

I really cannot stand how he says POCKET :mad: I hear the song has some exclusive D.C. vernacular, I'm not from D.C. so maybe I don't appreciate as much :cool:

I can't stand to hear anything by Kem....once upon a time I liked his stuff, but now just a snippet of his voice makes me cringe....argh!!!!

The hey bay bay song is a total mess. I have a question about the white girl song. Isn't Christina Aguilera half Latina? Anyway, that song about the coffee shop is horrible also.

I was talking to a friend the other day about songs nowadays being 'throw away songs.' We won't listen to any of these in 3 months or 3 years. But it didnt used to be like this. I still jam to Isley Brothers, Al Green, Gladys and the Pips, etc and those are decades old. Are there any songs from the past year or so that you think we'll be able to jam to in 10 years?

I tried explaining to my kids about the wackness of today's hip hop, cause they are just made for the moment...to fill radio space, make new sayings, new dances..and ultimately to annoy the hell out of us :mad: Unfortunately, my kids are the #1 consumers of this music...youth WHY do you buy into this...WHYYY?! :(

The closest I may come to is "Umbrella" because it expresses a nice thought about a relationship. But as much as I will bump T-Pain, etc, I don't see myself playing it 10 years later the way I still play A Tribe Called Quest, Common, and the "Grease" sdtk. The only one yall named that I really hate is Tank. I used to like it but its played out now. Its almost as bad as when they played out So Sick ny Ne-Yo
