As soon as it was announced that Josh would be leaving, he immediately kissed K.Lo twice quickly - on the lips, then on the side (it was quite quick) but as soon as that happened the camera turned to his wife and she had this evil look on her face...

Ruben came home today. The final 3 contestants got to come home before the contest is over and the people here in B'ham treated Ruben like he had already won AI, lol. He's been singing everywhere and he's been all over the news. He wanted to ask everyone to keep voting(for him of course...;). Thats just my little bit of AI news...

Kimberly Locke came home also. She performed some of her songs that she has sung on American Idol at Tower Records here in Nashville, Tennessee. Luckily, I was at the mall when she was there. She sounded awesome and just like she does on TV. I was quite surprised though when she stopped in the middle of singing a tune and said "I'm sorry guys but we didnt rehearse this one. That just through me for a loop! But anyways she still sounds great. Everyone make sure u vote next week.;)

AI on other shows this week
 

Hey ya'll, Oprah will do her show tomorrow from the AI set. Entertainment Tonight (ET) will be in the 205 to interview Ruben on tomorrow's show and will also host from the set as well.

Today, Wayne Brady did his show from the AI set and it was pretty funny. Josh was on today's ET and said that even though he believes that Ruben will win, he told the host that Clay deserves to win. Then he said the same thing again on Inside Edition and he did a live performance with his daughter on his lap.

Personally, I will make sure to watch Oprah and the first 1/2 of ET tomorrow as well as AI and I will VOTE!!!!! :D

I noticed that the title of the thread is now slightly biased! :o

I think K Lo did well on her song.

Ruben did well, as always IMO, although he broke out in a sweat with his two step.

Clay STUNK!!! Forgetting the words at this stage :eek:

Maybe CLAY will get kicked off! ;)

I can't understand why anyone likes Clay. He is so LAME to me!! He has skills, but not enough to be an American Idol. :rolleyes: This dude needs to be on Broadway or something since he turns EVERY song into a show tune. You all wondered how Josh can make some songs Country/Western. What about this dude? He makes me feel like I am watching Guys & Dolls or something!

I agree with you.

So far I have gotten in 7 votes for Ruben (5 before the show was over). Also to make sure Clay is gone I have voted for K Lo 3 times for now.

It is now a little past 10 and I've only been able to get through for K-Lo 3 times and 1 time for Ruben :mad: :mad: .

All these Broadway producers complaining about how soft the market is...if any of them have any sense somewhere in a back room on Broadway someone is developing a show for Clay - he will kick ass on Broadway and create a buzz not seen since Lion King first came to town (I know people in the show and had to go to LA to finally see it)....but he is not an AI.

K-Lo and Ruben brought it tonight - I think a final between both of them would be HOT!

I got in 50 votes ALL for K Lo of course.

Ruben has it made. For some of y'all he is #1 contender. I like him, but I have heard a lot better from men singing. He is NOT all that.

I agree that he is not the best male singer, CT4, but Ruben has shown his talent and then some. I love Ruben and I have voted for him as well. In my opinion, he has never messed up a song, and he is a little Luther to me. I like Kimberly as well, she has improved up until this point, but Ruben is my Fave!!!

I see your point, CT4, but either way it goes, I think that Kimberly and Ruben are GREAT!! They both will make it. Regardless of who wins, I am proud of both of them. I wish them both the best and I can't wait for my copies of the CDs! :D

I definitely wish them both the best. I would definitely buy both of their CDs as well, but Kimberley has a great range and with further development vocally and stage presence could be a very polished act.

I got through for Ruben ONE freaking time:mad:.

During that LAST commercial before they announce that the lines are open, at exactly 5 minutes before (7:55), the lines actually open at that point. I started dialing before then, got consistent busy sig's, then at 5 min's to on the dot I got in those votes during the rest of the commercial - one after the other. Got a busy sig when they came back from the break, but still got thru after that til Ryan said officially that the lines were open...
