prom

Did you go to your prom?
Yep, and I had a BLAST!

What did you wear? Colors?
I wore a lavender 2 piece dress. It was SEXY and only cost like $25 at JCPennys (This was only 5 yrs ago!!)

Were you prom king/queen?
NAW

Did you go with someone special or friend?
I went with 3 of my girls (Y tie urself down by coming w/ a date?! Dance w/ whoever u want, whenever u want, as long as u want.....that was my motto, lol). We rented a white towncar and drove ourselves.

What was your prom theme?
Don't remember

How much did your prom cost?
it cost $15-$25, again don't really remember (I'm starting to get old)

Hmmm..does Disney know about this and where is Christopher Robin? Check out the sneakers..at least they're color co-ordinated

NiaX 03-14-2007 10:07 PM

the denim is creative... but this is a real stretch... the (clearly obvious) girl on the left looks nice... the originality looks good on her... the human on the right did way too much. that is Gary Coleman in a sea of darkwashed denim...

the Pooh couple... he looks like he got punked into it.... he didn't dress himself. How are you gonna use 2 diff Pooh's for the designs? you don't jack Pooh up!

Numba... how did you find these pics? I think they pose just for us...

jitterbug13 03-14-2007 10:31 PM

Did you go to your prom?
Yes, both Junior and Senior proms.

What did you wear? Colors?
Jr. year I wore a short purple dress with the sholders out and jewels in the middle bust area. Senior year I word a long white dress with flowers in the back. If I ever get married and don't find a dress, that's going to be my backup wedding dress.:p

Were you prom king/queen?
No.

Did you go with someone special or friend?
Junior year I went by myself. I had a boyfriend at the time, but since he was a freshman, he couldn't go. Senior year, I went with two girlfriends.

How much did your prom cost?
Jr.--For Only For One Night; Sr.--One Moment In Time (easy to remember because they are both songs)

How much did your prom cost?
Don't remember. I remember paying for both years at one time. It was 10-11 years ago.

You know, these don't offend me half as much as those half-azz dressed girls on the other pages. At least they're covered. I guess they're just trying to be new and creative? Who knows anymore, lol

They sure aren't the norm, lol.

Have we concluded that the denim couple are two girls? A guy with a robe? What's going on party people? Anyway, it's creative, lol.

ETA: No, it's a girl. On second glance, I see she got some hips on her, LOL!

You know this does not surprise me, my high school students would come with all kinds of Winnie the Pooh, and Spongebob, and Tweety clothes, backpacks, ets. They are into that stuff.

I dunno though, the Pooh couple took a chance and it just may pay off for them somewhere on the island of fashion misfits.

I think you are right. Gary Coleman's hands look like she has on tips too. And honestly, regarding the dress that the other girl is wearing...

...in the right size (her's is too small)
...in the right setting (not the prom)
...with that train cut off
...and minus that white gauze around her shoulder

that dress isn't half bad.

It is being extended by adding on or buying adjacent islands

Did you go to your prom?

Yes but I wentstag with my friends

What did you wear? Colors?

I wore a strapless yellow Tiffany Designs Co. ball gown. (just imagine Belle for beauty and the beast minus the ruffles).I had yellow and goldish starp around the ankle heels. However in order to dance the way we want during prom my homegirls and thought it would be differnet if changed shoes and rocked speciality color Chucks that matched our dresses. This was of course after we took pics and everything. Needless to say they were the hit of the prom and other girls were complimenting us for thing of sumthin so original. Not to mention my homegirls and I got featured in yearbook.

Were you prom king/queen?
Nah, I was ASB prez.

Did you go with someone special or friend?
Nah my bf was a trick.

What was your prom theme?

Gosh I was on prom committee and I can’t even remember.

How much did your prom cost? Some proms now have ish prices?

Our prom bid was $75 or 80 I think. My dress including shawl was $190. My shoes were $36. My hair was free cause my sister did it. Strapless bra and pins were $37. The hair products were like $50. My purse was free cause it was a family heirloom. My make-up done by M.A.C was hella expensive it was so much I don’t even remember. Nails were $40. There were other stuff but I forgot.

wow.. you never take a movie poster and make a dress and tux from it.... seamstresses aregetting paid bookoo bucks to follow the orders of these gosh forsaken outfits..... Give some orders to my mom... she is a great seamstress.... and I am her helper... so tip me too! LOL!

Infamous12 04-04-2007 12:10 PM

When I see things like this I just don't know WHO to smack. The fools in the clothes or the ones saying, "Oh yeah, that looks good. Get that. Get that. That's hot. That's original. "

And to think,I thought I was styling and profiling when I wore a simple royal blue gown and my date had on his Air Force Blues ... I knew we should've worn the cover of Belly.

Also, is it just me or do they look old for highschool? I look younger than both of them and I am a good ten years past highschool. What are these kids doing to look so worn out so quickly?
