Actually, I've seen multiple places on social media that quota was 59. That said, the only individual number I've seen posted was on social media and was for Tridelt---73 new members. Not sure if any of this is truly correct---will have to wait for kchaptergphib to post. :)

Tri Delta's Instagram said they got 67, I think.

I have no numbers other than that, but it sounds like everybody did well, so I imagine everybody got quota or close, whatever that number is. :)

Edit: aaaand the numbers were posted while I dilly-dallied over my post, haha.

Edit 2: kchaptergphib, what's total at Madison now? Do you know the range of chapter sizes? When I was there, total was in the 120s and chapters ranged from 45 to 130ish, and while I know both are much higher than that now, I have no idea what the numbers actually are.

I'm still waiting on chapter total adjustment (should be done today or tomorrow, and I'll come back to update), but I believe current chapter total is in the 170s.
We usually adjust total to average chapter size, which I would guess would be in the high 180s, maybe?
I have a feeling chapter sizes run from 130 to 200.

Thanks! It does sound like further expansion might be needed if retention is good. I don't think any of the houses there slept much more than 60 (and plenty were smaller than that!). I'm trying to imagine fitting 150+ girls in our old chapter room and cringing--it barely held 90--and I imagine a bunch of the sororities are in that boat!

If you are going to report your numbers for your chapter, search for all the other sororities at that university and report their numbers also. Be Panhellenic.

It's very possible that those reporting numbers may only have their own group's, or theirs and maybe a few others thanks to connections/friendships/whatever. Thank you to everyone who shares the numbers they have when they can do so, however they obtain them!

Shellfish 09-16-2015 10:32 AM

Nobody's ever going to want to post numbers from Penn State, Indiana, Georgia, Alabama, etc. if they have to start looking up numbers for everyone else.

Asking some GC members to be Panhellenic is like asking a rock to grow hair, pick up a guitar, and sing Kumbaya. And toast marshmallows and make s'mores for the rest of us. Ain't ever gonna happen, ChioLu. We all know that :p right?

Thirded. When I posted my own chapter's new member numbers I didn't have access to the other groups' amount.

Ditto. I posted a number the other day that was given to me by a current member of that organization. Granted it was wrong, but it wasn't even my organization--I didn't have those yet. I thought it was kind of Panhellenic of me to post another organization's numbers even though I didn't have mine.

Or was it not? Should I not have stolen their thunder?

This shouldn't be that hard. :(
