We had a Michael Kors invasion several years ago and it was awful. I posted in the Mods Forum that it would be great if we could set up GC so that every time someone posted "Michael Kors", a fist would come out of the screen and punch them in the nose.

There is a way to stop it. Other sites do not have this problem. We just have an owner who does not seem to care.

Since most of the spam problem seems to be in the introductions forum, is it possible to get more moderators there? Or maybe a rotation of folks? I don't think I could commit as a long-term moderator, but I'd be happy to commit to a month of spam-fighting.

I don't look at the Introductions forum. Forums with new posts are in BOLD so I know to go there to see what's new. I only see the spam when it makes it past the Introductions forum.
