I think we need to enforce this rule: If you start a rush thread, you must post the results IMMEDIATELY! ;) :p
We're all happy for you, Petals, but we're so anxious to hear where you pledged. |

We could make it part of the TOS, and when people DON'T report their results, could report them to death. Generic  and all. |

Petals is such a tease!

This is evil!! I have been reading this all along and still don't know!!! I really want to know, but know whatever sorority you join will be a wonderful experience!!
|
Ok, for sure she is a tease. She could have said something before heading out the door!!!!
|
Gah! I woke up this morning thinking for sure she'd have posted by now...then I went to work and just got on to check...and thought for sure during the day she'd have posted...I guess I have to keep being patient.
Hope your day has been a dream since it's your first full day as a new member of your sorority! |
torture. pure torture. it's been a full 24 hours. ACK

Ay ay AY!
I suppose now that I’ve officially had a death threat I can let you all in on who my new chapter is! I honestly didn’t mean to keep you all waiting this long (haha, really, I swear!) but with all of the bid day madness and classes today, this is the first time I’ve been able to sit down at a computer for more than five minutes. So here we go! So as you know, I ranked my groups after preference in the order: St. Lucia, Bahamas, Miami… all of which I had great times at and would enjoy a place in, so going into bid day, I already felt lucky. Unlike most of the other girls in my Pi Chi group, I wasn’t nervous—just excited. So… When I opened up my envelope and saw that I’d be going to the beautiful… BAHAMAS I was ecstatic to see that I was a brand… new…. (member of….) ALPHA DELTA PI!!!!!!! At which point everyone headed out to the HUB lawn where, though it was nearly dark out, hundreds of sorority women were holding their chapters’ banners and giant letters for us to run to. I know that ADPi distributed 27 bids and is now at total, so I’m assuming that quota was somewhere right around there. Even though I didn’t get my “first choice”, I’m super excited to start learning names and getting to know my new sisters because I know I ended up where I did for a reason. Before I tell you which group is which, I just want to mention again that I saw something great in every sorority I visited over the past two weeks. I felt as though I meshed better with some sororities than others, but regardless, you can all rest assured that your sisters here at PSU are representing your organizations very well. I say this because reading over some of my notes from the earlier rounds, it might seem like I wasn’t a huge fan of some of the groups, but honestly, even my “least favorite” sororities or places I didn’t feel connections at were a lot of fun. [/ End cheeseball disclaimer ] Alpha Delta Pi - Bahamas Alpha Omicron Pi - Barbados Alpha Phi - Cancun Alpha Xi Delta - Fiji Chi Omega - Hawaii Delta Gamma - Miami Gamma Phi Beta - Acapulco Kappa Alpha Theta - Maui Kappa Delta - Jamaica Kappa Kappa Gamma - Puerto Rico Pi Beta Phi - Aruba Sigma Delta Tau - Bermuda Sigma Kappa - Virgin Islands Zeta Tau Alpha - St. Lucia Thank you all SOOOO much for making sharing my story such a fun experience. Like I mentioned, I didn’t really have anyone in real life to cheer me on, so all of your support was awesome to come back to when I was tired and drained and burned out on all things sorority. See you around GC :) |
