I generally agree, except with one small correction. I don't have any problems with the women who disagree with alumnae initiation as a concept. They're entitled to their opinions, and generally speaking, they've all been pretty respectful of it.

I think this big friendly group of panhellenic sisters are getting hostile with a megalomaniacal sociopath who is only interested in advancing her own agenda, and banging her own drum. If you don't agree with her, she takes it personally and then goes running to her "report this post" button. Let's not forget that this is the same poster who referred to the outcry against some of her posts as a lynching -- not just once, but several times , and when I pointed out how offensive it was to use that word in this context, she continued to do it. She's got more issues than a newsstand. It's quite sad, and rather than laughing at her, I think we should all start posting links to message boards and phone numbers for social agencies that support people with mental illnesses.

I'm fairly positive GP never sponsored anyone for AI.

And I also believe people can change their opinion on something -- that doesn't necessarily make them a hypocrite.

Not everyone should be held liable for the actions of one person. And it shows how weak the whole argument really is when you have to desperately cling to one example. (Which may or may not even be true?)

How true!

Well considering that you attacked my spelling and not my post, I'll take that as your nod of agreement. :)

But your effort to change the subject is noted.

Silence does not equal consent. Furthermore, notice how no one has really responded to those posts? That's because a. we're above shitraking and b. no one gives a damn what Blueangel has to say or thinks.

Aye Aye captain!

How true!

not to mention when the examples are up to four years old, taken out of context and misquoted.

Who said about holding everyone accountable? I am only holding those two accountable.

Who said anything about anyone CHANGING their mind? Those two didn't change their minds, they just hoped no one else would find out since it happened awhile ago.

After all, would blow their whole cover.

Well you can't actually expect anyone to make their argument based on whole truths! You know your argument has gone to shit when you have to take things out of context just to get your point across.

Oh please. My shoes probably cost more than your entire outfit. Don't talk to me about taste or standards.

Just a little heads up. This constant wild accusation throwing is getting on my nerves now and I feel harrassed by it. Barb now knows. Hate to pull a BA, but you're reported.
Drop this or believe me, I don't care either way.

OK - time for everyone to retreat to their corners for a break. Personal attacks will stop, now.

FYI - Mods cannot ban, only the site admin (John) can do this. If you don't like what someone has to say, put them on ignore and carry on.

It's not a wild accusation. I'm entitled to my opinion and having an opinion isn't against TOS.
