FYI- Ephesians 5:22 "Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord." I don't care if you choose to believe this or not- I was simply correcting your mistake. |

Papists have Bibles too. |

Papist sounds like a bad word.
I can see the 9 O'Clock new talking about how a gang of papists attacked women in the park. -Rudey |

It will be a cold day in hell before I submit to my husband simply because he has a penis and I don't. |
I know my husband loves me, but I'm not sure any man can love their wives as Christ loved the Church, so I guess until then I can forget about having to submit to him :D

oh my god, i would absolutely kill myself if i went there... i could only imagine people being forced to go to that school like if their mother is like the freakish mother in the movie "Carrie." All i know is that the sororities and fraternities sure as hell wouldn't be having any "Golf Pros and Tennis Hos" mixers or lengerie parties! sounds like no fun to me:)

re: AOIIBrandi
So....I guess that means that he can forget about TRYING to love you as Christ loves the church then....as long as you are in agreement! :D re: arieltridelta So you don't find the term "Ho" to be offensive?? I've heard young guys use that term, but always assumed it would be offensive to young ladies....maybe I'm just too old! |

about the names for mixers
(re) JoinerLxa
it's hard to explain, basically it's just an example out of many for the names fraternities choose for mixers. it's all just for fun, so no one gets offended. the point is to dress as sexy as possible without being naked- very college, basically. Now if someone were to call a specific girl or to maliciously call the girls in a sorority "hos," it would be a completely different story. |
I imagine it way to late to ask what this thread has to do with Greek Life.
|
Well, it started as a thread about secret societies at BJU...
|
Yes, we have gotten off topic. Let's see if we can tie the
thread back to the original question: So, are the local sororities at BJU offended by the word "Ho"? And if one of the fraternities becomes paired with one of the sororities, does the sorority have to be submissive to the fraternity??? Just kidding :D |
