so glad you are ok. What a scarey event!! Cars can be replaced but you can't!

Lows: I am SO behind in my schoolwork! I just can't seem to get myself and the rest of my family in gear this semester! It's raining here - yuck! I hate having to go out in rain! I would much rather stay in my bed when it is wet outside!

Highs: We are going to the mountains this weekend for a much needed break! Getting up there seems to restore my soul! Maybe it's because the phone rarely rings, there is no cable and we usually only watch movies if we turn the tv on at all, there's nowhere we have to go or be!

Highs for the day
 

My Highs today are:
- Freedom (I'm going back to school today after a long break... I love my parents but I can't stand being home for a long period of time)
- Less than a month till my 21st Birthday!
- Less than three months until I leave for Spain for a semester!

Lows:
- My stupid advisor still hasn't given me the days I will be in Spain in order for me to send in my visa and get permission to study there! GRRRRR

just lost a snakebite victim-very cute tibetan (sp?-it's late Iand I am too lazy to look up breed spellings)spaniel

worked with my ex-boyfriend last night (he is a vet. technician)-I have been avoiding him b/c I am still getting over the break-up even though I did the breaking up; I miss him so much but I know he cannot give me what I need-he is a 35 year old child

Highs: life is good in general-I am such a lucky person and I thank God everyday (or at least I try to) for what I have :) and for who surrounds me

highs--my whole friggin life!
-tomorrow, i am leaving for florida for a week with my parents and boyfriend.
-wednesday night, i got a new car! a 2004 VW beetle convertible in mellow yellow. i am leasing it, would prefer to buy, but the payments were over $100 more a month! :o it is BEAUTIFUL though!
-i am moving in with boyfriend at the end of november. yay!
-i am finally waitressing at my resturant job and making tons of money, and loving the people i work with.
-i got a part time/temporary position at AXO headquarters working in the member services/alumnae department! and i LOVE it! plus they give me AXO goodies all the time! :D

-i just got done working 16 days straight with no day off. but even that is not that bad since im going on vacation!
-i now have astronomical car payments, but i can already tell its gonna be worth it!

so no negatives really, only positives! yayyyy! :D hope all is well with all of my beautiful sisters out there!

Lows: The weather is supposed to be nasty tonight - an ICE storm - yuck! Means our power will probably go out before it is over with.

Highs: I have survived another semester of graduate school and am now on the home stretch! YIPPPEEE! The countdown to May begins!
The girls were in their first cheerleading competition today, and their team got first place! They are so excited, and SO cute!

Highs-Son is home, daughter will be on the 16th. Just have a few presents left to buy. (Though they may prove the most difficult)
I love my house during the holidays.

Lows-Really worried about this flu. Keep safe everyone and wash your hands with REGULAR soap. They are saying that using the antibacterial soap dries out your hands and is an open door to the virus. They are now referring to it as an epidemic...say it is more contagious than SARS...

Hope all of my sisters are doing well:)

His: my condo has SOLD!!! we closed yesterday and now I can start remodeling my new house :)

Lows: my cat Sullivan got out again but this time I can't find him. I hope he comes back. At least he is microchipped so if the shelter picks him up they can contact me right away. I just want to strangle him but also hug him. I miss him so much :(

I am sure that Sullivan is fine -- Jinx just returned from a three-day trip to who-knows-where. I had just told hubby today that I was worried he wouldn't be coming home....I opened the door to leave, and there is Jinx. He looked and smelled okay (the smell thing - we have a lot of farms with barns nearby) so who knows. Hubby says he got drunk and slept it off where he landed - LOL!

I will be thinking good thoughts for you and Sullivan!!

Highs-Shook off my cold before it got me down. Got the Christmas tree down and Mardi Gras up.
Hubby has agreed to CLEAN OUT THE CLOSETS!!! (He is the biggest pack rat in history! Hanging on to clothes from the 80's !

Lows-Son left for his initiation week and can't help but be a tiny bit apprehensive.
Daughter is in NY and has to fly home on the 8th. I really don't like her flying ANYwhere!
Back to work on Monday. When I have an extended leave, it's difficult to get back into the swing of things.

Highs- Leaving for LA tomorrow to see my boyfriend and go to Disneyland!!

Lows- Leaving home for the last time, I graduate in May and (hopefully) won't be moving home so this was my last extended stay here...
