Everytime I get a little down I gaze at the crest and a smile comes to my face. I am humbled to be a part of an organization with such a rich history, dynamic presence, and bright future. I count my self so honored to be a part of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated that I tear up and have to smile and Thank God I am a member!!!.

Why is it that my one and only LS knows me so well that she can still anticipate my thoughts and actions, and understand things I don't even communicate out loud six years later?

Why is that I can move to a new state, and have sorors i have barely met call me, take me out, introduce me around and then laugh and talk like we have known each other for years, only to amaze other people when we say that we just met 2 days ago?

Why is it that when I became an AKA a few weeks ago all the Sorors at my school showed me lots of love and the "true" meaning of sisterhood?
Why is it that when me and some of my Sorors from my chapter did community service on Thanksgiving, we represented in a huge way?
Why is it at my law school it is more AKAs then any other Black sorority striving to get their J.D.s?
Why is it I still can't believe that I am a member of this beautiful sisterhood and I thank God for making it possible?
Why is it that when ever I go out in para and I see a Soror, I always get a smile and a "Hi Soror"?
Why is it haters will continue to hate on the first and the finest sorority in all of the land?

SKEE- WEEEEEEEE!!!! Sorors!

Why is it that I am oh so blessed to be part of this wonderful organization?
Why is it that I still have to pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming?
Why is it that I keep smiling when I look at my AKA front-plate on my car?
Why is it that I wear and carry AKA para whenever I get the chance?
Why is it that I can't wait to attend my first sorority meeting?
Why is it that I am too excited to be joining my first committee?
Why is it that I am going to open an account just for my beloved AKA next week?
Why is is that I NEVER want to become inactive, ever?
Why is is that we are Pretty in Pink and Oh So Gorgeous in Green?

Thank you 2d for putting my post in its proper place. Why is it that my Sorors got me shouting like I'm in church? Why is it that "they" just don't understand. - all I can tell "them" is I'M IN LOVE.

Why is it that when I introduce my sorors to someone, 'this is my friend..." doesn't seem adequate enough?

Why is it that I want to say that she's more than a friend...she's my sister

Why is it that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my AKA

Why is it that this is TRULY the best sisterhood in zee world! lol:D

Why is it that I was so excited to attend my first sorority meeting?
