Yep ... Mary Ann Mobley crowned Lynda Mead -- Miss Mississippis and Chi O sisters at Ole Miss.

I wasn't really impressed the way they styled Mallory for the final crowning. The two piece black ensemble wasn't all that flattering and combined with chunky jewelry, black nail polish, and an ok hair do...well, it just wasn't Miss America.

I figured Miss NY would win...I think quite a few of my early favorites didn't do themselves a favor in the talent portion. The singing left much to be desired for me...

I'm ready for Miss Universe on Nov. 9th! Always been a favorite to look at beautiful women from around the world!
