one of prince andrew's daughters-either eugenie or beatrice

sweetmagnolia 04-29-2011 04:57 PM

It's Beatrice, looking a little disgruntled.

The reception dress!

i believe i remember reading somewhere that prince edward's daughter, louise, has some lingering effects from her premature birth, and therefore is not photographed often.

According to the AP, the first hymn, "Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer" was a tribute to the groom's mother, as it was also played at the late Princess Diana's funeral.

my criticism was not the hymns-it was the processional and recessional.

No, I believe this is Beatrice in this hat. What is it, a salute to Oprah in her final season? The one in the blue hat is Eugenie.

Ehh, I meant to click on Mystic Cat's post, as he was talking about the music in the wedding. Just an interesting point, as it was a way to incorporate Diana into the proceedings.

Sidenote: LOL at people actually WAKING up at 5AM and calling off work to watch this. And double LOL at having a Royal Wedding viewing party at that hour to watch it.

I haven't watched, but I figured they'll talk about it enough on the news so it doesn't matter.

Lol, I got up at 230am to watch all of it, and then presented at my first academic conference on 3 1/2 hours of sleep :D Totally worth it!!!

Did anyone else wonder if they played the Chicken Dance at the reception?

As much as I love the wedding dress, this one is amazing, too! Does she look bad in anything?!

I read on Yahoo! that, nine days ago, WIlliam and Kate rowed out to where Diana is buried, and they spent the day there. I can only add that it would be such a lovely moment to share.

I was exhausted at work today, but you're right. Totally worth it. :)

this morning on the today show, it was mentioned that the flowers in the lace on kate's dress were the flowers of the countries of great britain.

Loved Kate's wedding dress and her reception dress. Very elegant & classic. I was pleased she didn't do an over-the-top gaudy monstrosity. The tiara was also a perfect fit. I read somewhere it was the same tiara Queen Elizabeth was given on her 18th birthday.

As for Harry's girlfriend Chelsea Davy (sp?), I thought she looked terrible. The color was not a flattering one for her and her hair looked like hell. She looked like a girl who rolled out of bed & bundled her hair under a hat thinking no one would notice.
