Right? I guess I should just wait on that letter from my org saying how disappointed they are in me, and how I make them all look bad. Sorry Jill :(

O crap. One of the founders just called me...and he is an ordained minister.

He is hot with me.

Some, yes, but not all, for sure. We do eat quite a bit of the cost. Which is why my system has had (essentially) a hiring freeze, cut retirement matching, has had no raises in 3 years (of any kind.. cost of living, merit, promotions), no bonuses in as long, and we pay more and more for our health insurance too. We have been providing more care than we are getting paid for and our net loss is growing as more and more people are unemployed.

Now that posting back and forth through this pissing contest with people I don't even know (nor would I want to in real life), I do have to get back to work...YES...WORK. I know that is hard concept for some people (DS) with their 7,000 posts or (DS) with their smiley face comments when nothing of value can be said, but I must do it. Have a lovely day. ;)

It's so rare to get a flounce post from someone with 700+ posts and 5 years GC experience.

If you don't want to have exchanges with GC folks, then stop logging in. There's no need to say you wouldn't want to know us IRL. There's no need to try to impress us. There's no need for flounce posts. Just stop posting. Or put everyone but max on ignore. It's that simple.

Thanks for the correction.

But wait. Are you suggesting that health care and the uninsured actually may have an effect on the broader economy?!

;)

Well my goodness.. imagine that thought?? Like, we could build more clinics and hospitals and buy more high tech equipment if we weren't losing all this money! And us employees would make more money so I could get that living room carpet I need? There could be construction jobs and durable medical equipment jobs and people might start going out to eat again.

It could happen :)

Let's not forget that both sides have been ridiculous in this debate.

The liberals have been a mite less ridiculous. I haven't heard any racial slurs or death threats coming from supporters of health care reform, nor have there been reports of spitting from the left side of the debate.

Oh lawd! When that child talks with the tube down his throat....I just have to turn that crap off! Did they even have a medical advisor for that movie?
