I wish the judges would just say she did horrible instead of sugarcoating it by saying, "It wasn't great."

And oh holly hell Ace. The hair pulled back look is not attractive. He looks like one of the nasty, greasy 45-year-old guys I use to see at the Ft. Lauderdale dive bars who would be borderline frightening in their flirtation techniques with all the 20-something girls.

There is no way in heaven she knows what the word "beguiled" means. I'm sure she had to have coaching to be able to pronounce it correctly.

This probably is the best week by far. I think most people did fairly well. I really don't think Kellie did that well, and I agree with ZTAngel about Ace's hair. I also think Katherine did the best tonight. I did miss Chris, though.

Totally loved McPhee tonight. She was great. And I really enjoyed Chris as well.

They were spot on in saying Paris is a great jazz singer. I remember her being my fav in auditions for her style.

Taylor was good too.

I'd LOVE to see Kellie leave already. I'm so over her... but $20 says it won't happen.

What exactly was this week's theme? I know Rod Stewart was coaching... but what was the general theme?

I only caught the end. I kept thinking of The Wedding Singer when Ace was singing his song. (It was the song from the Bar Mitzva.)

Anyway... I thought McPhee was good. Kudos for finally choosing a song that fit her range. Every other week was stretching it.

Kellie with "Bewitched..." I only saw the clip and I could only imagine her intro and the comments she made afterward. But I'll have to catch TWOP for that.

As much as Kellie wasnt good, I cannot take Ace another week.

His new look for that song made me sick. I cant take the greasy look.

I really hope its Ace this week.

Paris was ok, but I'm ready for her to go too. I don't see a lot of people buying jazz from the next AI. I think she is good at jazz, but not so good at everything else.

I also missed Chris, my hubby thought he would break out some rock during the song.

I thougth Katherine was the best this week.

Paris was the best by a mile last night..........that was her best vocal and THE best vocal of this season so far...

McPhee was good but I think Simon went a little overboard with his praise.. 2nd best of the night

Daughtry- 3rd best I was just good to see him be vulnerable and not scream all over the place and show his voice off.. althought George and Anwar did much better versions of this song

Taylor- bold choice taking on Sam Cooke.. I think the ending was totally unneccessary.. You Send Me is a tender love song.. I think he overdid it a bit

Elliott- good but I think is in danger

Ace- good performance but in danger

Kellie- worst of the night and she really stood out for being the worst tonight.. SHOULD go home but I doubt it

Going Home tonight will likely be Ace or Elliott

McPhee is my favorite! I thought she did wonderful!! I also liked seeing a different side of Chris- its good to know he can break away from his genre.

Kellie definitely needs to go home!!! Her annoying little comments are not cute or funny.

Seriously, this result show was messed up. Chris in the bottom two?!? And Kellie was safe? Are all the tone deaf Americans banning together to vote for her?! Geez.

Did they just do bottom 2 or still bottom 3? I turned it on to see Chris and Ace. Was anyone else in the bottom?

It's funny because I pretty much new where ever McPhee was, that side was safe. And it's sad, b/c I bet most 20-30yo's watch the show but don't vote. Like I can see all the teenagers voting and then the grandma's and people with kids as well, but I think it's that middle age that I'm in, that watches and is less likely to dial the numbers... leaving us with stupid people like Kellie week after week, b/c lil girls think she's cool, even though I'm totally annoyed with her. BLAH!!:rolleyes:

I totally agree with you chitownxo. Mr. kansas13 and I were in SHOCK :eek: when we found out Chris was in the bottom three!! He told me if he got booted out that he was going to boycott the show. It was almost a repeat of Jennifer in Season 3.

I think that Kellie's performance was one of the worst ones I have seen at the end of American Idol. Not only was she off on pitch, but she was ahead of the band. At least with your pitch you sometimes can't help it, but being off beat is an amateur mistake. Please, oh please, don't make her American Idol!! Anyone else left...but not her!!!

Or Ace. The rest is fine by me though. :)

Finally Ace is gone! I know Kellie sucks, but come on, so did Ace. Maybe if we're lucky we can get rid of Kellie next week.

my sister loves that bocelli dude who is supposed to be on next week. i take it that she will be watching.

Paula acts like she's either drunk or drugged beyond belief on the show. She's seriously wacked!

At first, I thought next week's theme was going to be the songs of Bocelli. I would have LOVED to see Kellie butcher opera. But, alas, it's for love songs.

I liked Katharine, but didn't think she really connected with the song. Definitely didn't think she was as bad as the judges said...conspiracy theorists unite!

Elliott connected, sang, performed and downright delivered tonight. Loved Chris, Taylor was good, Paris okay and Kellie was bad. Really bad. Should have gone home after BoRhap bad but for some reason is still there.

Please, America, do the right thing and spare us from Kellie.

Elliott just gave it his all tonight and I think that was why he just made the song.

Chris, as always, was excellent!! I could really tell the difference after they made him sing from his diaphragm (the laying on the floor thing was awesome).

KELLIE NEEDS TO GO HOME!! She is just not in the same league as the other 5. Please, please, let this be her last week!!

I just found out that Mr. Chitown's mother has been voting for Kellie all along -- and she's called more than five times on some occasions. I knew the woman was certifiable, and this just proves it!!

Anyway, I liked Paris, Katherine, Elliot and Chris.

Elliot was the all-star of the night. Hands down.

Despite Mandisa's early exit, the season has done suprisingly well with keeping the best around. Don't get me wrong- Bucky, Ace, Kellie don't add up to the others, but someone has to stick around with them.

I'm at a loss for who I want to win. I LOVE Taylor, but he's not the next American Idol to me.

It's either Elliot or Katharine for me.

Chris is too rock for me and Paris is just too... Paris, even though she was an early fave of mine. I wouldn't mind seeing Chris win either, he's just not my top pick.
