I watched College Hill last night and it's a HOT MESS.

I don't know the characters well enough but the girl with the scarf on that told Israel "Shouldn't no one be telling your girlfriend about her man. When all the b.s. came to her, she should have known already." I was like PREACH!

I feel bad for Israel's girlfriend, Israel was so fake that I'm shocked that she believed him.:rolleyes: Brittani is just as trife because she was smiling all up in that girl's face and she just wanted to break up his relationship(which looked like a cool one). Hater!

I have sooooo many comments about that episode. April is STUPID!!! She believed the blackout story. Oh, and Coti is illiterate! It took that boy 30 minutes to read that letter.

John is messy like a ginny woman. I didn't like him in the beginning. HOWEVER, the crew is wrong for allowing Peaches to go as far as she did. They were just standing around, watching and chillin'!! :eek: :eek: Where is the clause that states you get kicked out for physical contact? That whoa needs to be KICKED OUT!! She is talking about she is a grown woman and can do what she wants. She is SOOO RIGHT!! Therefore, why take the space of someone that could and wants to be in the house? She needs to be G-O-N-E!!!!

Though I understand Tanishia's position, I did agree with John stating that she needs to be more aggressive. She can be as holy as she wants to be, but she doesn't need to let people handle and talk about her.

On MTV's The Real World. I'm not sure if they have such a clause on this H.A.M. show.

Peaches is a H.A.M. and I really believe that had it been some other dude, she would not have reacted in the same way. I am surprised that the camera crew did not step in.

Most times the crew is instructed not to step in. I agree Peaches probably wouldn't have reacted that way with the other guys. But, then again it was Napolean complexed John.

I've gotta admit...I probably wouldn't attempt to push him into the fire like Peaches, but after a while, he and I would probably have a confrontation. He even annoys me through the tv screen.

Peaches is definitely a H.A M. and I think she said everything Jon said she said. Also, the camera crew is not supposed to interact with the cast (that happened on the first season of "The Real World" and that camera man got fired). And if it's any indication, the theme song at the end of the show should be a big clue as to how they operate. :rolleyes: :o

I agree. Being that they are an upstanding couple, I would expect them to have a little more control. Not that they should intervene and make it less "real," but they should exert some control over certain situations. What would have happened had John really fallen in that fire? Peaches threatened to KILL him. What about that? This show is ridiculous on SO many levels.

No, you're not wrong for feeling that way. It's your honest opinion, so there's nothing to feel bad about. :)

As executive producers of the show, I'm just wondering what the responsibilities are for K&E Edmonds and what they're ultimate goal is for College Hill.

These individuals were chosen because of the possibility of conflict and not to educate the masses on what it means to attend an HBCU. Maybe this will change at some point (I would like to see it). We only see what these people put out and what's "squished" into a 20-22 minute show (i.e. Isreal & Britney hooking up vs. the "nice" girl chatting and playing cards with her friends).

I have not placed high expectations on K&E Edmonds because they haven't given me enough reason to do so. Their body of work is still small ("Soul Food"-movie & tv series, "Hav Plenty"). But I'm hopeful. :)

But remember those fools on the Real World had sex. Also I think it was the Real World Hawaii, and it was when Ruthie was about to go drive drunk. The crew stepped in at that time because she was about to get behind a wheel of a car and drive. I think they will step in for things like Ruthie, but not for John getting his azz kicked......ha ha ha

I had to laugh at it, but I didn't think she should have been put off the show for that. Some of these people on the other reality shows did and said far worse than peaches. I think they could have talked to the two of them and something would have been worked out, but put off the show??? It wasn't even that serious to me.

After that mess in San Diego, every show pretty much has a "do not touch" clause, so if cast members get into a fight, the show can tell you to pack your bags and roll. Peaches ( tell me that is NOT her real name) should have READ her contract..
