I actually think these are valid questions. :)

those questions annoy me when I get asked that all the time.

sometimes, i jokingly reply "Token asian" or "so you can ask me this question" :p

seriously though, I would just rather you ask me why "XYZ" than "why XYZ when you are asian". These days, most orgs push for diversity/multiculturalism that it shouldn't be much of a surprise.

one i get all the time:

"are you required to wear your colors when you meet your sorors?"

Can you speak Spanish? :p

OMG, i actually got that once...I was like "yes, I'm one of the Elite" :cool: but when I'm having a bad day I sometimes say "What's THAT supposed to mean?!" and they usually back down :)

Well I went to mall last week and went to the cookie store and this conversation occured...

Girl Worker: Where you cross?
Me: Grad chapter, blah blah blah
Girl Worker: Do you step good?
Me: :rolleyes:
Girl Worker: Ya'll do that snake thang right?
Me: Umm, sure.
Girl Worker: You'll do the snake thing?
Me: Umm, no
Girl Worker: Come on, do the snake thing please?
Me: (nicely giggling) No
*Finally get my cookies*
Me: There is more to Alpha than stepping and hissing.
Girl Worker: You right, I feel you. But we just wanna see the snake thing.

I proceed to walk off smh.

I mean, was she cute and of legal age?
