Wow - great year for Gamma Phi here on Greek chat!

My little brother accepted a bid from Sigma Phi Epsilon this week! *So* excited for him!

I posted this in the thread, but my sister went KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA at Alabama! :)

But her friends should be included as well! More names for the ever-growing list!

Man, I have a ton! :)

She had a friend from high school who went Alpha Omicron Pi, and then her new college friends went Chi Omega, Kappa Delta, and Gamma Phi Beta (all at Bama). I'm sure she has more new friends who pledged other places, but these are the ones she told me about. :)

I've only got one more recruitment this fall... a friend of Sis's is rushing at Ole Miss now.

It's so true! But then if you look at the list, there's as many new DZs and Chi-O's (in fact one more than Delta Gamma each), but yet we haven't really heard about them. Go figure!

ETA: Looking at the Winter/Spring 07 list, it's kinda cool that all 26 NPC groups got represented, hopefully that happens again this time around :)

I think that might be because some posters who know several people just list them out:

e.g. "I had five friends going through rush - 1 was an ABC at UState, 2 went DEF at StateU, 1 went GHI at StateTech, and the fifth went JKL at SomewhereU"

So there isn't really a story, but just a quick report on where their friends went. It seems like we have more of those than actual threads this year? But we got a really good number of recruitment stories so far.

Cousin is a Delta Gamma
Rec Girl "S" is an Alpha Chi Omega
Roomate "M" is a Tri-Delta
High School Friend "K" is an Alpha Delta Pi

Of the two girls I knew going through recruitment, 1 went PI BETA PHI and the other went ALPHA DELTA PI!

TNMomof5 posted earlier this week that her daughter was going through recruitment. Today she wrote that her daughter is a new member of Delta Delta Delta at the Univ. of Tennessee.

Poor Jill!!! She hasn't had a chance to count her winnings and she has a lot of updating on her hands! You go, Girl!
