One last post for the record, from my perspective:

I have no ill feelings towards GF as a site or towards any member of GF. I think there are many wonderful people on that site, just as there are many on this site.

I do not think it is fair to categorize an entire site based on the actions of a few, whether they be my actions or those of anyone else. That goes for GC, too - it's not fair to say that any one poster on GC is representative of the whole of GC.

I very much wish success for GF, for the site as a whole and for the individuals. And I sincerely wish that in the not too distant future once this episode blows over that this can all be put to rest, by all parties on all sides, to the benefit of both sites. Overly optimistic perhaps, but possible nevertheless.

This whole thing is on another level.

I agree about pbear. Initially I thought she was saying that she didn't know what was going on but was going to play the mediator, anyway. :) Instead, she actually has access to both sites and has some idea, even if she's not 100% on all the details. :)

This whole thing is just another "board battle." These things are nothing new. As long as they stay on the boards and don't translate into real life (supposedly this one already has, right?).
