Earlier I made a post about Phi Sigma Kappa colonizing at Valdosta State. The article made reference to another Georgia colony of Phi Sig. Exlurker was kind enough to find and share the information that Phi Sig also colonized at Georgia Southern this past semester.

Kappa Kappa Gamma is expanding to Knox College. The will initiate in March. The campus currently has Delta Delta Delta and Pi Beta Phi. Best wishes, ladies.http://www.kappakappagamma.org/Templ...Contentid=9512

Does Alpha Xi Delta have no interest in reopening their Alpha at Knox? It seems strange that the campus opened to expansion and they weren't selected (did they even present?)

I know they were founded at Lombard, but a lot of chapters including the Sigma Nu chapter at Lombard moved to Knox when Lombard closed.

Well I can not speak offiicially for our National, but I believe Alpha Xi Delta does have interest in reopening our Alpha Chapter. The chapter did make the move to Knox from Lombard like some of the other chapters. One day our Alpha will be open again.

University of New Haven

About New Haven...I was there for colonization and we recruited some great women! We did not absorb any of the locals and the colony will participate in formal recruitment with the locals this Feb.

I'm so excited for the 4 colonies I helped recruit last semester, they will be installed this spring! I really hope I can get out there to see them celebrate such an amazing task.

I was the North Carolina State University site looking at the college and it said Delta Delta Delta will be colonizing there after Formal Recruitment ends in 2007. I was very impressed with their websites and their program in general. I wish Tri-Delta all the best on colonization!

Chartering at Sam Houston and SE Ok!

I hate when we not find out about expansion and closings from our IHQ!:(

Seems GC has a better grapevine than our own home offices!

The Sigma Chi colony at University of Tennessee - Martin was officially chartered this weekend.

I just wanted to confirm this. Delta Delta Delta will be colonizing after formal recruitment in the fall of 2007. Currently, NCSU has Chi Omega, Sigma Kappa, Alpha Delta Pi, Delta Zeta, Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Gamma (colonized 2002), and Pi Beta Phi (colonized 2004, installed 2005). Now they will add Tri Delta.

No SOONER than 2 years later, Kappa Delta will be invited to the campus. These pre-decisions were made when Pi Beta Phi was invited to colonize).

Greek life at NCSU is growing! Plans have been approved for a new Greek Court (ours now is pretty gross looking -- picture 60's style office building looking houses...) that is modeled after the University of South Carolina's Greek Village. Here is more information and the plans: http://www.ncsu.edu/greek_life/housi...velopment.html

Too bad I'm all done and graduated!

Chapters formerly on campus were: AXiD, DPhiE, DZ, DG and KD.

Ok, I heard that they had expansion presentations from Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta and Kappa Delta. DG will be colonizing this semester, and KD will colonize in 2009, which is awesome because they'll be bringing back two chapters that have been gone for awhile, both of which were part of the original group of sororities on their campus.

Do you know which local Kappa is absorbing at UCSC? I see 4 listed on their website - Alpha Psi, Kappa Zeta, Chi Chi Chi, and Nu Beta Omicron.
