I figure that once his "connection" to Kappa was discovered, the only natural place to head to would be GC. Anyone can post and comment about KKG here.

I'm guessing the investigation searched the various emails he used - a lot of his communication was via email - possibly along with IP addresses and the different websites/message boards they were connected to. GC just happened to be extremely relevant due to the Kappa/Greek connection.

That and his crazy-ass posts once they did find the connection.

I know I will go to hell for this, but that was the first thing I thought of too when I just re-read that thread. I wonder if he ever lived in HPRL?

Otherwise, I am with all of you. This is terribly disturbing and I think I need to take a bath in bleach now.

I can't even believe this! At first I thought the posts were kidding about it being the same person, but after looking at the news article, wow! I'm just speechless. If this isn't a kick to remind yourself that the Internet isn't always safe, I don't know what is. :eek:
