Bama's quota was set at 57 for freshman and 5 for upperclassmen.

Pref night was today. The (computerized) Pref cards have been submitted/signed, the Bid Lists turned in and tomorrow is Bid Day. All that's left is the waiting. There is always such an odd mix of feelings the night before Bid Day. Exhaustion from lack of sleep, stressed out from the various problems that always occur from the big stuff to the piddly things, yet an incredible excitment waiting to find out who will be on our lawn.

Hello ladies! I am new to the boards...just moved away from the South...feeling nostalgic and wanted to know how ADPi did at UGA rush this year...What was quota? It seems less girls are going through and it is so much shorter then when I went through! Anyhow, give me a holler!:p

I believe everyone at LSU made quota this year.

The larger houses had to make more cuts at the beginning of the week, helping out the other chapters to make quota- although I don't think making quota was ever really a problem.

Quota went from 80 in 2004 to 65 this year... a large drop! I think everybody is happy where they ended up!

Rush-Related Fire in Dorm at U. of Florida
 

The Gainseville paper has an article about a fire in one room at Broward (sp?) Hall. Apparently it was caused by a hair dryer someone was using while getting ready for a recruitment event, looks like no one was injured. The fire department reportedly had problems getting people out of the dorm because many thought it was a false alarm.

Want to bet THIS will be a rush week memory people will talk about for years?

this is funny (of course bc no one was hurt), but i can imagine the conversations of women who were getting ready for recruitment when the fire alarm went off....things like, i am not leaving until all of my make-up is on or what i am going to do with my hair if the dorm burns down! lol. glad to hear everyone is ok.

I posted this in the Alpha Gam thread...a long time family friend's daughter is a UGA new squirrel.:D

Anyone know how to see a bid day pic of the new AGD members? I would love to see it!:)
