At least it's a "wait" rather than the "no way in 4{!!" like at Harvard.

Particularly if nearly all the other schools in DC have a chapter active - it'll make it even easier to approach Gally in the future. Patience is a virtue - and sometimes, extension is knowing when to strike where!

I'll PM you with my replies to your post. Right now, my hands are a bit tired and a migraine is setting in.

And Jamie, I completely see where you and National are coming from re:Gally. If you can tell me, I'd like to know who you spoke to at the school who expressed disinterest in rechartering. There are two people in the Student Activities Office who are notorious for giving a "thumbs down" to any organization that isn't "Deaf" in its origins. (Again, speaking from first hand experience dealing with both of them)

I'll put the issue to rest for now, as I'm sure people who have been following (or at least trying to) are eye weary by now.

BUT, I'm still more than willing to work on a pure ASL version of the Toast Song. As for Stokoe notation, it's not considered a written form of ASL by the Deaf community. Why, I can't answer....it's also a PITA to learn!!! ;)

No problem. I think once the Stokoe Notation came up, it had passed beyond general discussion on Greek Chat. :)
