Please keep in mind that recruitment is a mutual selection process. Both the chapter and the potential new matter get to decide who/what chapter they want. There is no guarantee that you will be given a bid.

Okay, so I'm obviously not a Kappa Delta;) but I just wanted to share that my niece became an initiated:D Kappa Delta today at Georgia College & State University!!:D

Rho Chapter/University of Wyoming, initiated 1980.

Not only am I a Kappa Delta, but I am also a Kappa Delta daughter AND now a Kappa Delta mom! My mother is 1952 initiate of Upsilon Chapter at Beloit College, and my daughter was initiated (with both her grandmother & mother present) in March 2013 at Lambda Chapter/Northwestern University. I'd like to thank DaffyKD and another equally special KD sister for keeping me sane when my legacy went through formal recruitment last January, and then celebrating with me when she received a bid from her first choice - Kappa Delta!

Congratulations and welcome! The president of my alumnae chapter is a Beloit KD.

Also I seriously have no idea how mothers make it through recruitment.
