Y'all know I am not one to defend Bush, as I think my 4-year old nephew is a better orator...but I agree with his decision to stay there and read. If he had left right in the beginning of the book, it would have scared the kids. The school, which had been prepared for his arrival and filled with Secret Service agents, was probably one of the safest places he could be at that moment.
