Yes! I remember that. No one ever used the chat rooms. You'd go in there and there would be a whole bunch of people you didn't know speeking Greek to eachother. Very bizarre.

I don't know how 'old school' these are but...

1. If you involved in the whole "Beauty Pageant" naming thread & you posted pictures of crowns, dresses etc, to go along with your new name.
2. Brandi Shae (was it Rae?) & lil Princeton
3. The bajillion threads everyone posted bashing "she who shall not be named" lol


I don't think i'm 'old school' but i do remember the thread about sorority pants & gamma chi but i dont know if those were "bumps" or when the actual debates were going on.

The Alpha Gams used their chat room regularly. I miss that.

Yes, and Teeny Wahine came from the labels on the Roxy clothing line which is made for little girls (hence "teeny wahine"). And I remember that wahine is Hawaiian for female surfer, from one of my travels.

I think I might be one of the oldest mostly-lurkers still around. If I recall, I once made fun of UFPike for his bad attempt at speaking German. And I still wear my sorority pants sometimes, the black ones that go with everything. ;)
