I was 86%

What a cute quiz!

MiAngel711 11-23-2003 06:18 PM

80%

I'd like to think of my self as an orginal, but OH well!

I got a 77%... ( i did it based on what I would have answered two years ago as an active) I didn't think it was out of place for a Northeast sorority girl at all... my school is DEFINTIELY not a big Greek school, but the tiffany jewerly, kate spade bags, MAC... all that is popular here even if you aren't in a sorority.

i think that percentage about right for me. One of my law school friends said that I "look" like a sorority girl but I dont act like one, which she meant as a compliment. she isnt a fan of sororities too much, but because she's friends with me and she likes a lot of my sisters, she's changed some of her views.

and another note- instead of kate spade, it should have been Coach! hehe. I do have a Kate, though i rarely wear it anymore, its a few years old.

40% I didn't like this quiz either. It made us look superficial. I am in a southern sorority but I am a northern girl.

this made me think of sorority stereotypes. I was thinking just because somone likes nice bags and makeup, or is excited to be in a sorority and wears letters doesn't make a superficial person.
Not to blast anyone who disagreed with the quiz in general, but I didnt see anything wrong with it and being labeled a "sorority girl" based on that criteria.... I am in a sorority, i AM a sorority girl, I do wear tiffanys and i like to get manicures. I dont think it makes me superficial. I scored "high" or whatever, and I might "look" like a sorority girl (whatever that means), but I am not a superficial person.. .

I dont base my friends on looks or what they wear-- in fact I detest people who talk about that stuff all the time. I had a group of friends who only talked about juicy coutour, gucci, and 7 jeans, etc, and it bored me to death. I might like that stuff to wear for myself, but i dont judge people on whether they have it or not. I know this is completely off topic, but its something i was thinking about.

to the other Northern girls, what exactly did the quiz mention that was very southern? and where in the north are you? this quiz seemed very applicable to sororities in NJ (or my school at least)...

I am from New York City, so even though our states are next to each other I bet things are different. You would be surprised at the differences between northern and southern sororities and also black and white sororities, or multicultural. There are many....

I think that the quiz made sorority girls look like we were all into fashion and high strung, I am entitled to my opinion. I like to wear name brand clothes as well, I should know I am from NY, but that quiz asked a good number of questions about fashions and things of the nature. If you didn't know some sororities do have the reputation that they are all into fashion. One sorority at my school will not accept you if your clothing is not up to their standards and I think that is wrong. You have to look beyond what goes on in your state or school and see why so many girls on GC did not agree with the quiz.

This quiz is a giant joke...to be taken no more seriously than "which Friends character are you?" or "which porn star are you"? It's all in good fun, nothing for anyone to get upset about.

MTSUGURL 11-24-2003 01:24 AM

67% here.

_Lisa_ 11-24-2003 01:41 AM

44% ...hmmm?

valkyrie 11-24-2003 01:58 AM

Ahaha! 21%. ;)

Janerz222 11-24-2003 02:11 AM

24 percent - and I answered as I would have if I were still in college. . .(yes, I can remember that far back).

XOAlumXO 11-24-2003 01:30 PM

76%

:D

absolutuscchick 11-24-2003 03:20 PM

This time I took it I got a 71%!!!!

And on this other quiz, How Sorority Girlish Are You, I got a 41%...interesting!!

MareImbrium 11-24-2003 05:54 PM

I received a 33%

I also remember one fraternity guy who kept telling me I was the typical sorority girl. When I asked him what that entails he was at a loss for words. Anyhow I hope to own one of those Tiffany style jewelries and I was never into purses.

BaylorBean 11-24-2003 06:51 PM

How sorority girl am I....46%
I don't think thats too bad for a small midwestern school sorority girl! On the other hand though I am 61% sorority girlish.
