Dennis Rodman is about to get married again. The controversial ex-NBA star will wed Michelle Moyer on May 13, which happens to be his birthday. Rodman’s manager says The Worm decided to tie the knot on his birthday so he’d never forget his wedding anniversary. Rodman’s previous marriage, toe Carmen Electra, lasted nine days.
Suge Knight and his label, Tha Row, have been hit with a wrongful death lawsuit by the mother of a young woman who was murdered and partially eaten by an aspiring rapper. Carolyn Stinson says that rapper Big Lurch killed and cannibalized her 21 year old daughter, Tynisha Ysais, in order to enhance his image as a gangsta. Big Lurch, who’s real name is Antron Singleton, was arrested last year on murder and torture charges after police found him staggering around naked and covered in blood on an L.A. street. Police said they found the mutilated body of Tynisha Ysais in a nearby apartment. The body had teeth marks on its face and on pieces of a lung which had been torn from her chest. A medical exam revealed that Singleton had human blood and flesh in his stomach. The wrongful death lawsuit filed by Tynisha Ysais accuses Suge Knight and Tha Row of supplying Singleton with drugs "to encourage (him) to act out in an extreme violent manner so as to make him more marketable as a 'Gansta Rap' artist." The lawsuit goes on to state, quote: "Part of what makes a Gansta Rap artist marketable is the fact that the artist is a current ongoing participant in violent gang activities. Singleton met this criteria and was even more marketable because his songs were as violent as his lifestyle and included rape, murder and ended with him eating his victim's body organs." As of yesterday, no one at Tha Row had commented on the lawsuit. Two people got shot in the parking lot following Saturday’s BET College Hip-Hop Fest at the Paramount's Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. One man is in custody in connection with the shooting which police think was sparked by a car accident in the parking lot. The two victims and the alleged shooter knew each other. The suspect, David Gleason McKoy, is being held without bond. About 20,000 people attended the BET College Hip-Hop Fest which featured Fabolous, Keith Murray, Cam'ron and The Diplomats. 50 Cent announced yesterday that he’ll go on tour with Jay-Z this summer. 50 says Jay should headline the tour because he has a longer string of hits. 50 says he also intends to collaborate in the studio with Jay-hova. Plans for the tour have not been finalized but it will most likely start in July. Lil Mo says she’ll open on some of the shows. Method Man will appear on upcoming episodes of the Fox high school drama “Boston Public” and the HBO crime series “The Wire.” Taye Diggs will play a Secret Service agent on two episodes of NBC's “The West Wing” during May sweeps. RIALTO, Calif. - Rodney King, whose videotaped beating led to the deadly 1992 riots in Los Angeles, was hospitalized with a broken pelvis after he lost control of his SUV while weaving through traffic at 100 mph and crashed into a house, police said.
King, 39, was spotted Sunday by a police officer who said King was speeding and weaving through traffic in his 2003 Ford Expedition :eek: when he slammed into a utility pole, a chain-link fence and then the home, police said. No one in the home was injured. King was in fair condition Monday afternoon, hospital spokesman Jorge Valencia said. His condition was not available Tuesday as hospital officials did not answer phone calls. Police said they suspect that King was intoxicated, and a blood sample was drawn to determine his blood-alcohol level. Test results have not yet been released. King was not arrested, but a report detailing the crash circumstances will be submitted to prosecutors, police Lt. Kathy Thompson said. King, who is black, was chased by police through the San Fernando Valley in 1991 and was captured on videotape being beaten by four white officers. After their acquittal, riots broke out and lasted for four days, leaving 55 dead and more than 2,000 injured. The mayhem caused $1 billion in property damage. King later received a $3.8 million settlement from the city of Los Angeles in 1994. He was convicted of spouse abuse in 1999 in San Bernardino County and was sentenced to 90 days in jail and four years probation. King pleaded no contest to three counts of being under the influence of PCP and a count of indecent exposure in October 2001. A judge gave King a year in a drug treatment center even though a prosecutor argued King should spend a year in county jail. Rialto, where King lives, is 53 miles east of Los Angeles. |

Barry White’s Girlfriend is pregnant! :eek: Barry’s girlfriend 37 year old Katherine Denton got pregnant before he suffered a stroke last September. Barry is not doing well he is still in need of a kidney transplant and he has paralysis over 50 percent of his body. According to published reports Barry is currently in a rehab facility and he may never recover. Katherine recently announced her pregancy and Barry’s family is upset. They want her to take a DNA test to prove that the child is Barry’s. Barry is still legally married to his second wife Glodean and upon his death she stands to automatically inherit half of his estate. Poet/Author Dr. Maya Angelou recently celebrated her 75th birthday at her North Carolina Home. Oprah Winfrey spared no expense with the Million Dollar party she threw for Dr. Angelou. Some of the costs included 40 thousand dollars for security, 90 thousand for guests and transportation, 100 thousand dollars for flowers and landscaping, 120 thousand for food and liquor, and 75 thousand dollars for a dance floor and sound system. Some of the guests included Bill Cosby, Luther Vandross, Dionne Warwick and Natalie Cole. Gordy recently sold 30 percent of the Motown Publushing catalog to Capital Records.
