They must feel so lucky that the chapter was reestablished just in time for their daughters to get bids. And sharing a sisterhood with their daughters--that'll be so wonderful for them.

(I'm not-so-secretly hoping I'll have a daughter and that she'll go AOII. My boyfriend is like :rolleyes:, but he didn't go Greek and doesn't understand.)

agree - it has improved just in the past three years w/having a minimum quota set two years ago that has increased again this year. If memory serves me, some chapters took in the low 30's when there were 1700 girls going through then. All you have to do to see how much things have improved is look at the posts from the IU moms tonight - all happy news about their daughters finding their homes. Compare that to posts from past years - it was quite different!

It all turned out well in the end. She kept her mind wide open on pref day, and then ended up with her #1 pick - and she liked these girls all along, so I am thankful for her sticking it out. Here's to resilience and grace!

Congratulations to all the pnms who are now New Members! And to the moms, for making it through and being so supportive. The changes at IU are very welcome, indeed.

I was sent video last night from the Tennis Center and in previous years we received videos from the Rho gammas as some of the girls received their bids in their dorm rooms. I have to say, I kind of enjoyed the mass chaos of the tennis center better! It was like a giant party full of hugging, tears, and mass confusion!

Anyway to share that video from last night ?

It's s shaky cell phone video and I'm not sure how to share it or i would. Many of the chapters will put together a bid day video though. So you should be able to see those soon. They usually put them on youtube
