Well, I was the first in my family to joing a GLO and of course I'm an ADPi. A couple years after I joined I was fortunate enough to initiate my step sister into ADPi (different chapter), which gave us an awesome bond. Now my cousin is going through recruitment next month and I'm super nervous, but I know she'll find the organization that is right for her!

I am the only one who is greek in my family, but I hope that my little sister will be a Kappa one day (along with my future daughters)!

Me: DPhiE
Mom: Tri Delta
Aunt: Pi Phi
2 Aunts: DZ
Grandma: GPhiB

No males in my family have ever gone greek on either side of my family. It's kinda strange considering almost every female did.

I'm a Theta and SAI, and my dad's a Lambda Chi Alpha. My mom recently told me that she was really good friends with a lot of the AOPi girls at her school, but never joined. I also found out after joining Theta that one of my great-aunts is an Alpha Delta Pi (I think).

Me: Sigma Nu
Youngest Brother: ATO

KtSnake that is really weird your a sig nu, and he's an ATO. Thats gotta be pretty weird having your bro be a rival of your fraternity, espescially w/ the rivalry that ATO and sig nu has.

ME: Sigma Nu
Both Sisters: Delta Zeta
Distant Cousin: Sigma PI

Although I have a sister who could have very well ended up in Pi Beta Phi, as a Phi Psi I'm the only Greek in my entire family (though I've said I'd get a Theta into our family before I kicked the bucket, if only because half of my friends from high school-and quite a few in college-are "kite-fliers")

...However a friend of mine joined Tri-Delta as a multiple legacy: her grandmother, mother, older sister, and I believe extended relations were all in the sorority at different chapters around the country. Her younger sister also goes to our school, but despite the obvious pull for her to join Tri-Delta she ended up in Kappa Kappa Gamma. It was obviously an excruciating decision to make and of course she disappointed some loved ones, but it was unbelievably clear that she fit far better in Kappa. A lesson I think worth heeding for Greek relatives, myself included...
