Ellebud, the semester I pledged (last fall), we took a sisterhood trip to see the UCLA SDT house. It's still there, but it's like grad student housing now or something. But our letters are up! I'm sure the residents were quite confused by the swarm of young women outside of their building, though!

Ok, new thing: tonight, kaeb and I took a photo together and we want to share it with you. I just have one request: if I post it, will everyone promise not to quote it? I will remove the photo at some point. Yes, I know that the internet makes everything visible forever, but I want to share (for a little bit!) and then stop sharing. Thank you so much!

I would love to see the picture but as a worry wart Jewish mother I wonder how good an idea that is. You have no idea who is lurking on this board that plans to go against your wishes and quote you just for the heck of it. You also don't know how it will end up on the internet. Too many people would know how to locate you and now they will know what you look like.

Congratulations to Bellatrix, kaeb, and the sisters of Sig Delt! What a fun story this has been to read, and I know the journey has been very trying and tiring, but you sound so happy, and we're happy for you. :)

Maybe you could post a picture of the whole pledge class or whole house, and privately PM people to point yourselves out?

Kaeb thank you so much for the update on the SDT house. I am truly happy that dementia hasn't set in...that much...as yet. In our last home our next door neighbor was a UCLA SDT. She had monthly (formal) gatherings with her sisters. And there was always one sister or another coming over.

I hope you, Melinda and all your sisters enjoy that kind of friendship.

Went into the local Steinmart today. The 1st store employee was almost a dead ringer for HBC/Bellatrix including the LONG kinky and puffed up hair! Dressed in black but had very cute HIGH heels!

Haha. Part of the reason I've always been a Bellatrix fan is because people have told me that I look like HBC (not to mention, she's my style icon/inspiration as an actress). I have the hair and all, so I have dressed up as Bellatrix before...
