gotcha! I will probably do the tally on Sunday night. U of Iowa starts today and I have a rec girl going through at another local school
|
Texas A & M
First result from my rec crew:
1 - Kappa Delta |
Two of my daughters friends went Pi Beta Phi and Zeta at UNT. I'm so excited for them! No need to add to the list.
|
Congrats to them. I'm helping with recruitment today. So I'll update tomorrow.
|
My four rec girls at Arkansas went KKG! woot!
|
My Rec Girls at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU):
1 went Pi Beta Phi 1 went Alpha Delta Pi 1 went Kappa Delta 5 went Kappa Alpha Theta |
Everything's bigger in Texas . . .
. . . including my recruitment results! Here's my big ol' Texas A & M rec crew:
(I've already mentioned my Kappa Delta pledge ) 1 - Zeta Tau Alpha 1 - Delta Zeta 1 - Pi Beta Phi 1 - Kappa Kappa Gamma 2 - Alpha Delta Pi 3- Alpha Chi Omega 3 - Kappa Alpha Theta 3 - Delta Gamma and last and certainly not least: 2 - Gamma Phi Beta!:) |
I should be caught up now. At home nursing a sore throat :(

So, I'm pretty disappointed with what happened with my two ladies on my rec. crew. My first one (University of Alabama) had two chapters that preffed her but, her parents said they would not help her pay if she chose to join "those" chapters . My second girl (Florida State University) got released from my GLO but, was able to pref three other sororities. She was a legacy to two NPCs on that campus. After pref, she decided to only list two of the three chapters she preffed and she was completely released from recruitment. She felt as though she couldn't see herself in the "other" house .
This all really bums me out. Both women had sophmore standing (which could have hurt them during recruitment) but, they were unable to see how lucky they were when they were given the chance to affiliate with some of these sororities. Now, at both Bama and FSU, they may not have the same opportunity twice. :( |
Rec Crew Results: ADP at WKU!!!

Jill, I agree. When are young ladies going to realize they must maximize their options (especially if they have age, grades, etc.) going against them at COMPETITIVE schools? I am so bummed by that news. :( |
