I have on posted, but again, under another name, because my ending would have been obvious--I pledged a colony, and had asked questions in the sorority's forum with this name, so it would have given it away. Heck, I actually think people figured me out even though I had a different user name! lol

Why on earth do I have to go to class til 10 and miss all the fun?

And for those of you who are saying "Who cares if it's fake?" GreekChat is a place that PNMs come to for advice. I certainly want them to read real depictions of the recruitment experience, not fake ones written by crazy people.

That's like going to a college admissions message board where people are MAKING UP their college apps, stats, accpetances. It's not helpful to anyone.

Also, ok people are posting fake stories. What's stopping people from making up complete fake identities prestending to be sorority members? It has happened before and it's not fun. Especially when they're pretending to have joined your sorority.

I mean, if you want to make up fake stories, go to creative writing board and have at it, GC is not the place for it.

EXACTLY! Making up fake stories and insisting they're real is actually pretty creepy. And we've had other incidents when these crazies have taken it further, coming back to GC time and time again with multiple names and taking it into real life situations.

Kudos to LadyLonghorn and KSUViolet06 who had this gal's number by post #20 and #24 respectively. 33girl and OTW were close behind. I am going to listen to your Bs*** detectors sooner from now on.

Yes.

As well as a prize for putting up with all the posters who were bashing those who dared called the whole thing into question.

Maybe now they will understand why we are so annoyed by these types of faux-stories.
