I bought Mary's cd tonight. I'll listen tomorrow while I'm riding. I also got Kirk Franklin's new cd, along with the Clark Sisters live album. I had Jaheim's in my hand, but put it down. I'll have to go back and get that.

I'm really loving the new Jahiem...he has matured in his song content a lot...its in heavy rotation right now....def worth the 10.00 dollars

Where did you get it from for $10? I saw it at BB (I think) or CC for $13.99, which is too much for ANY CD. :D

i bought mary and loved it, it hasn't even been taken out of the cd player. i also heard a friend's copy of chris brown and that was suprisingly thorough as well. someones gonna have to burn that for me though.

I was in the mall today and heard a beautiful song by Corinne Bailey Rae called "Another Rainy Day" that is not on her album. :(

I heard Raheem Devaughn's new joint on AOL. I really like it, but it'll have to wait until payday. I'm glad he's going to be on tour with Jill Scott. I'm looking forward to that concert.

Erykah's CD is brilliantly bizarre, but I really like it. Definitely not what I expected after hearing "Honey". Radio is NOT ready for this one!!! 9 1/2 out of 10

I'm very disappointed in Janet's CD. It was so painful to listen to. You would think that with all the various songwriters on the CD, it would sound better than this. The title track is very disturbing; I read somewhere that Ne-Yo cowrote it, which makes it even more disturbing. 6 out of 10

Cheri Dennis' CD came out today (FINALLY!!!) and it's actually not that bad. I'm mad at Diddy for waiting so long to release the CD, then dropping it the same day as Erykah and Janet. Not good!!! 8 out of 10

Thanks for the commentary. Radio hasn't been rEADY for Badu since Momma's Gun. They definately were not ready for Worldwide UG. I am so ready to hit Best Buy this evening...it isn't even funny. :D

It's the same Algebra. I have a song uploaded from last year, but I was looking for a whole album. I'll have to pick that one up, too.

Badu's album is kinda wacky in some parts, but overall, it's HOT! So far, my faves are "Me," "Master Teacher," "That Hump," "Telephone," and "Honey." By the end of the day, I'll love them all, I'm sure! :D I've heard some good things on other songs as well, but since I'm listening while studying, I couldn't concentrate. However, the above songs stuck in my head.

I agree, and I was surprised that "Honey" was included as a "Bonus Track." It's not even listed on the tracking listing.
