I was really sad to see April go. In previous shows, I thought she was going to make it until the end, so I was a little surprised when she got cut. I really think that Shandi is going to win it, which I would have never guessed in the beginning. My roommate loves Yoanna, but I have never been a big fan. I think she has a beautiful face, but her overall attitude annoys me. I love Mercedes; I have liked her since the beginning. I think she is awesome so I am pulling for her

I was surprised too. I wonder if there could be something between April and Nigel in the future. He seems smitten with her as well. :o

I'm rooting for Mercedes, but I like Yoanna! I feel very alone here :o but I wasn't mad at her for disliking Camille b/c I didn't like her either. To me Mercedes has the 'cute' look, but I think if they worked on her, she could definitely do high fashion as well. Shandi is just okay to me, but what she'd just been through may bring some strength out of her - she just may pull it out. I wasn't suprised at April leaving b/c I didn't like her either.

I am also hoping Mercedes will win. I like Shandi, but feel that since she has been getting so much hype that maybe there will be an upset and Mercedes can step right in and win.

So once she was gone I rooted for Mercedes, and once again, drat. I can't believe they picked Yoanna after she was dumb enough to CUT her hair before the shoot!! Hello, it's called gel, look into it.

Yoanna will get a cosmetics contract maybe...since all it entails is showing her face, which is beautiful...but there's no way she'll ever be on the runway, her walk is not up to speed. I predict we'll see Mercedes and Shandi on the runways AND Vogue/Bazaar etc.

Does anyone think Mercedes' lupus was a factor in the decision? Like maybe they were afraid she'd get sick and not be able to fulfill the commitments?
