Sorry to crash, but I just had to share that my coworker's daughter accepted a COB bid to the Omega chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at Iowa State!

She stayed at Gamma Phi for Greek Getaway last year and loved the chapter. They were her top choice all through formal recruitment, but she ended up dropping out of recruitment due to personal reasons.

She will be a great member and I'm so excited for her!

Not that anyone probably noticed, but I got back from 3 weeks in Amsterdam yesterday (for work). Very nice trip.

I quit my job today! Which is incredibly happy news, it's something I should have done months ago. And I already have some promising leads on legal temp work to keep me busy in the next couple of months before law school starts.

I can't figure out where to put this, so I'm just going to say it here for now. I just found out that Miss Missouri (for the upcoming Miss USA pageant in April) is a Gamma Phi, from the Gamma Tau chapter! So be sure to root for Miss Missouri in a few weeks. :)

Ok, this will be my last law school related Happy Thing post... But it's really the only one that counts...

I got the full ride!!!! I'm going to law school tuition-free!!! Just have to keep a 2.0 GPA. I swear, it's just like winning the lottery.

One year ago yesterday I was initiated! And tomorrow I'm going to be at IH doing some historical research for a Founders Day project I'm working on. :D

After 3.5 years with my boyfriend, he is now my fiance! I'm getting married! No date set yet, but we're thinking fall 2010.
