Yep, my second and final shipment went out last night! And I got a keychain as well. I ALMOST through it out cause I didn't notice it in the packaging until I saw online that there was a free gift!

This is what the Lilly sorority reps are sending out. I'm personally not too crazy about the sequin tote, but I do love the picture frame. According to the salespeople at a Lilly store, rumor has it that they intend to at least finish up the NPC line.I'm looking forward to whatever new products may be added, as I would love a sorority planner and case for the new iphone.

It's funny, I went to the a store (the only store in Portland that sells Lilly other than department stores) and tried a dress they had on sale. It was a size too small and I resigned myself that I'd never had this cute dress. Woke up today to see it was on the Lilly sale. Destiny.

Dang, I wasn't paying attention and missed out on the start of the sale - so the Murfees were all gone. And do not ask me what I was thinking (and do not tell Blondie93): I bought the Theta sparkle tote. 50% off. Told myself that I could give it as a gift if I came to my senses. Am trying to talk AOII Angel, thetygerlily, and AZ-Alpha Xi into buying their respective sorority totes. So far no luck.

Do love the Murfees, at the sale price. So warm and versatile. Otherwise, they are priced way out of my league. Not doing any dress buying although there are a couple of really cute ones on sale.

AzTheta- if you love murphees, I would check back throughout the sale. Oftentimes, Lilly adds things and doesn't announce it so you may get a deal tonight or tomorrow.

I'm going on a cruise this summer and plan on getting some sundresses from Lily Pulitzer. For me, the brand is a hit or miss. I love some prints and dislike others.

I got the Laney dress and the Hart top. Here's to hoping they show up sooner than my last sale purchase did!

I was wondering if it runs fairly true to size -- dd ordered this dress today (from a different site) in the size she usually wears in Lilly dresses -- hope it fits since it was final sale! Local dept store that sells Lilly only had 2 left but not close to her size for comparison.

We also shopped some sites of Lilly stores that sell online -- these also offered free ground shipping during the Lilly sale (until midnight tonight I think). We found some items in colors and sizes that were gone on the Lilly site (probably because a couple of these sites are a little difficult to navigate) -- The Pink Pelican, The Peppermint Palm (site shows that shipping is charged, though I called and was assured that orders are entered manually and ground shipping will not be charged when billed for orders placed until midnight tonight), and C. Orrico (did not see free shipping advertised but it was free when I checked out).


*ETA: Anyone have any experience with the Resort Chic Wedges? Wondered if these are comfortable and run true to size.

I had to order a size up because I'm quite busty and couldn't get the zipper up. I love the wedges and they run pretty much true to size. Very comfortable as well. I wanted to buy a pair, but couldn't justify it.

I saw that too. I'm hoping at this point that the "surprises" pertain to the 12 groups not currently represented, as that was the response given to all the posters begging for Lilly to "add XYZ!"

Argh, that's a real bummer. I know they are a private company and can do whatever they want to earn a profit, but it sucks to feel like your group is left out.

Any surprise that isn't (or isn't comparable to) "we are releasing prints for the remaining groups in a timely manner!" is just not okay to me. If it's "here's more items for the groups we have currently represented!" my bank account and I will happily say no thank you.

I absolutely adore Lilly but unfortunately I think it can look a little too overwhelming... especially if you're in a group of sorority girls also wearing bright floral Lilly dresses :)

I did buy a lovely white lace dress from Lilly for initiation and have several other purchases; I noticed they do tend to run a little small in the bust area, so I have typically sized up one size for that reason and hemmed/taken in the sides accordingly.

As for the sorority collection: not a fan of the totes! Simply because I like the more basic look of the Vineyard Vines totes, but I really love the prints and I'm considering getting a scarf or bracelet, which I think are a little more subtle. Sometimes I think 'Lilly overload' can be a little obnoxious!

I bought a Lilly AOII scarf on eBay for fairly cheap. It is a POS. I couldn't believe how poor quality it was. I will be handing it off to someone at Convention. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that thing.

So glad you mentioned this! It's disappointing how designer labels overprice for poor quality :( I'm fine with spending the money, but it sure as hell better stand the test of time!
