KD
I will preface my comments by saying that KD at Alabama is very strong. This year freshman quota was 73. KD originally had 52 women on their bid list. They have since picked up 16 and have a pledge class of 68. They have an excellent pledge class and will be fine. I guess they will need to work on rush for next year.

Thanks for all your work as an advisor!! I too am a chapter advisor and its alot of work but well worth it! It is so hard for me to think in terms this HUGE. These chapters are so big, do you really know all your sisters? Congrats again to all the npc groups!! |
in addition to chapters under total, chapters who did not pledge to quota may cob until they reach the quota mark.

Wow congrats to all the new members at Bama & all the sororities for doing a fabulous job. We could only dream about those types of numbers here up north. :)

Tell me about it! Our entire chapter isn't even as big as these pledge classes. :p |

I think in all the sororities at Bama, most sisters know mainly their pledge class. However, I roomed with a senior in the house during my sophomore year, and I got to know a lot of the older girls that way. Then when I was on Exec board, I got to know all the younger members. |
I would just like to say that the description of sisterhood on the Gamma Phi's page for Bama is beautiful and makes me get kinda mushy even though I'm not in a sorority. It's the best explanation of what you all try to convey each time you talk about 'sisterhood' that I, as a non-greek, have read yet. Kudos to you ladies, and congrats on a successful recruitment :)

gamma phi sisterhood description
where is the gamma phi description of sisterhood given--is it written by a bama gamma phi?
|
It's under the "scrapbook" section: http://www.uagammaphibeta.com/scrapbook.htm
It's credited to anonymous, but I think it's lovely regardless. |
