I agree.

It's the social relevance in the patterns of who they love.

I think that is what is driving many folks to scoot to the other side... They often have this "grass is greener" mentality. It is denial of some folks selves. If they never have to truly have to identify in this vague innoccuous culture, never have to have a grasp of their full self and true thoughts, then they can freely associate by flitting around.

There are true social ills that many ethnic groups. Each have different issues, and sometimes it works out for the better. But I do find it lame that dating someone solely because of their ethnic group or cultural identity loser like.

Like, "I won't date a black woman, 'cuz she's too dark and black is ugly" mentality... And sometimes is hurts to think that folks actually KNOW and THINK that ALL women of African descent are ugly. That is what hurts me the most...

I definitely don't think the grass is greener on either side. I do believe that color shouldn't matter. We're all human beings, the unfortunate thing is people outside of the relationship are what cause the problems. I would get involved with whoever made me happy. Color doesn't matter, but the issues outside would be the only thing that I would have to get used to.

:D

When a word has 4 syllables then it's not necessary.

I feel what you're saying though.

EXACTLY. it's like I said before... if you won't date someone from another race because you think all people of that race have a trait that you don't like (no matter what that trait is)That is the definition of prejudice.
