Sorry about that DSTChaos. What kind of information do you want on our organization, or Asian Greeks for that matter?

how you do your grip what your grip means extensive information regarding your process the names of your pledges you know...basic information that everyone tells.... |
the meaning of your letters..Tau Delta, Tomo Dachi, circle of friends.
how you do your grip... dont have one what your grip means.... same as above extensive information regarding your process..it inovlves the creation of a lifelong bond between the active chapter and the new member chapter through a series of rituals and tasks designed to educate the new member in the history and purpose of the chapter. the names of your pledges.."the crazy 8's ", my personal nickname for them. But other than that..."sister" or "Kim" or "Trudy" or... :) |

None. My point is that you did not respond to the original question, either, other than to redirect it. ;) |

That isn't extensive. That is a generic description of new member processes. ;) |

Let's get back to how this relates to your inability to get over her refusal to share in this thread. ;) |
If anyone is interested in Asian Greeks though, I'd be more than happy to inform them.

With NPHC orgs there is a duality present. Everyday public information like the history of the org and things of that nature and the private esoteric information that is taken to the grave. Information that is so secret it is not even written. but hey, that's just my .08 cents worth! |

Its the same for NPC sororities--we do NOT disclose or write down esoteric information. |

The information in her post, was obviously information that she could divulge. |
Since people are bringing up Iota Phi Theta, this was the history of its founding. Iota members on Greekchat did confirm it in a thread earlier but did not comment on why their name was changed. That thread, I'm sad to say, mysteriously disappeared.
From the 1971 Morgan State University Yearbook, as quoted by Black Greek 101: Alpha Chapter, the first of Iota Phi Theta, was founded September 19, 1963 by 12 men who felt they were too old and mature to go through a ridiculous pledge season. It was originally called "I Felta Thigh" fraternity. "I Felta Thigh" entered [the local] Pan Hell in 1965. The name was then changed to Iota Phi Theta. -Rudey --Again that's history with no commentary |

Exactly. |

There is just a difference in what things are classified as esoteric. |

I am not pointing out the fact that the information is given, I was illustrating that the question was even answered. (and notice that L.O.C.K DID NOT entertain the question) but hey, that's just my .08 cents worth |

But, the person who responded probably did so to show that answering the questions is "no big deal." Eventhough she didn't REALLY answer all of the questions. ;) |
