Don't know about Twitney's status

I have no idea whether Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are engaged. Justin Timberlake, however, looks like he doesn't handle business properly.:p :p

Soror, I'm speaking of intimate business. :D
IMO, Justin just doesn't look manly, but maybe that's because I'm old. I suppose that he looks adequately manly to some 20-year-old.:p

During her pre-oscar interview with Barbra Walters ( or Baba Wawa as my mom calls her) Sarah Jessica Parker said they will be doing 2 more seasons of sex in the city.

THAT'S IT????

The repeats air on this coming Wednesday. And Soror 2d, I think that the new season starts June 2nd. That's what the commercial I watched last night said.

Oh they better be doing more than 2 more seasons. Why is it that shows I like never stay on long, but let it be that reality TV CRAP that I cannot STAND. They never go off.

AKA2D '91 03-29-2002 12:23 PM

Sarah Jessica Parker gossip

This is from E! Online. It says that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are going to have a:

The Producers: Parker, Broderick Expecting!
Fri Apr 5,12:22 PM ET

So this is how actors celebrate the end of a run on Broadway.

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick, fresh off his mega-successful stint with The Producers, have been busy with some producing of their own: They're expecting their first child this fall, columnist Liz Smith reported Friday.

Parker, 37, and Broderick, 40, will celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary in May.

The big baby news will certainly put a crimp HBO's production plans for Sex and the City (news - Y! TV). The cable network announced Friday it will suspend production on the Emmy-winning series April 10 "in order for HBO to evaluate its production schedule in light of [Parker's] recently announced pregnancy."

Only two episodes of the show's fifth season have been shot. And the season premiere, originally set for June, has now been tentatively pushed back to July. There's also no word yet on whether Parker's advice-dishing alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw, will end up going through a pregnancy of her own on the series.

Meanwhile, Friday's news ought to silence (well, at least temporarily) recent tabloid reports claiming all was not well between Parker and her husband. The gossipy chatter escalated in January, when Parker neglected to thank Broderick when she won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy.

Parker and Broderick later insisted to Barbara Walters that their bond is strong. "Come see me in 25 or 30 years when I'm still married to the same man," she said.

For his part, Broderick is finally getting some rest after his yearlong stint starring in Mel Brooks' Tony Award-winning stage version of The Producers. He and costar Nathan Lane gave their last performance in March.

Broderick's next gig is starring in a TV movie version of The Music Man to air on ABC next season.

That, and Lamaze classes.

A Parker-Broderick Baby! :D

Well SATC fans, if you were the producer or writer for the show, what would you do?

Would you write it in the show?
End production?
What?

I say, they should write it in. And guess who would be the father...BIG! lmao

Peaches-n-Cream 04-09-2002 10:12 PM

A woman from my high school works for SATC. She does costumes. I'm actually a few blocks away from where they film SATC and the Sopranos.
I think that they should write it in. I like your idea about Big. :D

AKA2D '91 04-28-2002 05:50 PM

The pregnancy will not be written in.

There will only be 8 episodes of the show instead of 13.

July 21, it's baaaack!

HOLLYWOOD, California (Reuters) -- HBO has set 9 p.m. July 21 as the new time for what promises to be one of the biggest TV events of the summer: the season premiere of Emmy-winning comedy "Sex and the City," Variety reports.

The cable network had been set to bow a fresh batch of 13 episodes of "Sex" this month, but that plan went out the window following series star Sarah Jessica Parker's announcement that she was pregnant. Production was halted for a few weeks; HBO execs decided in April to cut the number of episodes in the upcoming season to eight from 13.

With "Six Feet Under" having wrapped its second season Sunday, HBO will fill the 9 p.m. slot for the next few weeks with repeats from "Sex's" recent winter "mini-season."

The upcoming "Sex" episodes will culminate in the show's fourth season finale on September 8. The next week, September 15, HBO will bow the much-anticipated season premiere of "The Sopranos" at 9 p.m., followed by the season premieres of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Mind of a Married Man" at 10 and 10:30 p.m., respectively.
