polarpi -What eight offices make up the traditional executive committee (I hope this is correct, this is how my chapter did it, but I'm not sure everyone does it the same way)?

1. President
2. EVP
3. MEVP
4. RVP
5. Treasurer
6. Dir. of Social Enrichment
7. Dir. of Standards and Ethics
8. Panhellenic Delegate

What are the names of the 50th and 100th chapters that ADPi installed?

-Lindsay

Sherra, we had Social on, and Scholarship as an invited chair. I'm not sure which is "correct".

Lindsay, I'm just guessing: Beta Beta (!), and Epsilon Delta?

princessnerdy 01-23-2004 01:35 PM

president
executive vice president
membership education vice president
recruitment vice president
treasurer
director of standards and ethics
director of social enrichement
panhellenic delegate

that's how we do it...like it says in the COB

Scholarship Chair is on the Membership Education team. But, she can certainly go to exec, especially when she needs to discuss something important with them. In fact, anyone can go to executive committee meetings, but only the officers princessnerdy & lindsey listed can vote.

skerbow 01-23-2004 03:25 PM

Right Right...the Membership education team was created about 6 years ago when we redid our structure, right? That is when all the new names, Like "New Member Coordinator" came about.

If my list is correct, it would be Beta Beta as the 50th chapter and Delta Delta as the 100th :)

Adelphean 01-23-2004 06:22 PM

That's what I got as well. Beta Beta and Delta Delta

polarpi 01-23-2004 07:32 PM

Since I'm gearing up for an online study session soon, I'll ask our esteemed honeychile to present the next question, since it was her original post to Lindsey's question that got me looking for the answer :D

Honey, batter up! :)

honeychile 01-23-2004 09:01 PM

Esteeemed, huh? Is that a kind way of saying old? ;)

Okay, it's been a while since I've seen a New Members Book, so I don't know if this is still mentioned:

Adelphean Loula Kendall Rodgers was known for designing what, around 1861?

Not at all! When I say esteemed, I mean held in high regard, one of our online leaders, etc. You'll never be old in my book!

She fashioned the Confederate Flag.

Question: Why was the Adelphean Society orginally started? And, where did they meet?
