Grumpy Conservative Republican here. :)

UKTriDelt 02-25-2005 08:37 PM

Morally and fiscally (and everything else) far right-wing here! Registered as a Republican; had a few oportunities to vote, and always voted Republican. Not to say that I'm not thinking for myself, I just have never agreed with a liberal so far! Love Bush to death, as well as most of his family, and really only disagree with him on one point... I disagree wholeheartedly with the death penalty, which is definitely a result of my Catholic upbringing. :D Love ya, Dubya!!

I'm another one of those middle-of-the roaders.
-More socially liberal and fiscally moderate.
-Generally tend to lean more left, and am a member of the College Democrats (actually, I'm webmaster) here, largely because we're the only campus political organization that gets involved in the community.
-Don't care for the extreme left or right fringes or people that try to push their political views on me (you should feel really bad you went to a private high school/you're going to hell because you don't support the 10 Commandments in the courthouse).
-Absolutely despise people that vote a certain way because parents/friends told them to. You owe it to yourself and everyone else in America to vote for who YOU feel is best qualified, not the person everyone else thinks is. Trust me, they'll get over it. (Yes, that means I would vote Republican if I thought they were better for the job.)

Well, it only took me a year to realize that someone posted a question to me in this thread.

We do have an open primary (pick a party and then you can vote), but he doesn't care about being able to vote in the primaries. He's probably going to register as an Independent (or Unaffiliated, whatever) where ever we live.

I go to church and believe in God. That makes me a radical religious wacko.

I am pro-life. That makes me a woman-hater (even though I am a woman).

I think Americans are over-taxed. That makes me selfish and greedy.

I think the United States is the greatest country on earth. That makes me sheltered and unworldly.

I admire our military. That makes me a war-monger.

I can figure out a ballot. That means I am not a Floridian.

I can spell. That makes me a rarity on GreekChat.

I am a conservative.

LexiKD 06-08-2005 05:38 PM

That was pretty good!

Hey, I'm a "liberal," and I can spell pretty well. 5-time elementary/middle school champ, at that. :)

That's pretty much how I am, only I usually vote Republican, but I guess I'm a really moderate Republican, just not when spending or nosing around in my personal business are involved. :)

Democrat ... socially and fiscally liberal (did I spell that right?)
