At my new job (SDSU Alumni):
*One ADPi *One Sigma Alpha Zeta (Multicultural sorority) *One "The Journey" member (What was Phi Kappa Theta before they were expelled last Fall, so they call themselves that now) |
*BUMP*
Wow, this is SO COOL that I just had to bump this thread up to post this! :D So I've worked in the library at my university for about a year. I work in Interlibrary Loan, but I know everyone that works in the library. At the library Christmas party, one of the ladies that works in Reference came up to me (I was wearing letters) and informed me that she, too, is an SAI!! :D She was in a chapter up north. Now she will soon be affiliating with the local alum chapter. |
I was interviewed at a law firm the other day and the attorney interviewing me ( yeah small firm) said his wife was a Alpha Phi ( i have it listed on my resume) ...though he didnt say if he was greek or not.

As I think I posted earlier in the thread, my advisor who is also my professor again this semester is an Acacia from Alabama. My Theo professor was alumni initiated into Phi Kappa Theta at Marquette when they were still open.
As for at my "workplace," there's a Chi Omega from Wisconsin and an Alpha Phi from Marquette. One of the girls is also very interested in pursuing membership in a BGLO, but I obviously can't say much more than that. ;) |
newest count among the waitstaff & hosts:
* 2 Sigma Chi (George Mason Univ.) * 1 Phi Mu (me) (Virginia Commonweath Univ.) * 1 Alpha Omicron Pi (George Mason Univ.) * 1 Gamma Phi Beta (George Mason Univ.) * 1 Alpha Xi Delta (George Mason Univ.) * 1 Delta Zeta (Longwood) |
The only co-worker I know of that is greek is an AXO

being interviewed by the husband of a sister can only be good, methinks!

Fifty percent of our company is Greek.
Of course there are only two of us in the company. |
I lifeguard at a really nice private pool called Wilson's Beach Club..
I was extremely yet pleasantly surprised at how many greeks worked there... There were probably about 40 guards plus front desk workers, 90% of them out of high school were members of a fraternity or sorority... I started working there the summer before senior year in high school, so everyone was a GREAT source of information.. Since I knew close to absolutely nothing about greek life.. Very cool. -Matt |
I wore my ZTA windbreaker to work today. I didn't think anyone in my office was greek. My boss came over to me and said, "I didn't know you were a Zeta." He told me that he was a Phi Kappa Theta at the University of Missouri- Columbia back in the late 50's/early 60's.

Updated list
1 AFW (me!) 2 AFW pledges  1 KS 1 SAI 1 SFE  3 DKE and a ton of anti-greek GDIs  |
I've been working as a substitute teacher at one particular school for a while now, and here is our Greek breakdown:
One Alpha. ME! Two AKA's, the speech and language pathologist and the Pre-K teacher. Two Deltas, 3rd and 4th grade teachers. The rest (surprisingly for the DC Public Schools) are not Greek. |
I just started a new job about a month ago and I just found out tonight that one of my managers is a TKE and my boyfriend's manager is a Pike! :)
