I used to like it when in the deep south if there was even a inch of snow or ice on the road they would cancel school. I have had hs classes canceled because it got below 20's. The school buses in south GA at least can't start if its that cold.
Not many classes were canceled for that since its pretty rare it ever got that cold. |

Y'all may remember Kitso's shock about seeing snow and my first crazy exploits driving in it. When i got to school that day, some of my 7th graders were like, "Hey Texas(that's what one of em calls me, Texas), you ever seen snow before?" And i was like, well, it snowed one year and they cancelled school. But that was about 7 inches less than this. And that's how it is, they'd cancel school if it was gonna freeze, cuz i went to a rural school and they knew the kids would be out late covering crops or tending to livestock. I miss Texas:( Kitso KS 361 |

I think it's very unsouthern for someone to claim they are a true southerner and then not live up to southern principles (ie. disrespecting women )

A true southern man would be my dream come true :)

Thanks to this thread, I've just posted a query on my city's message board to find out where I can have Macaroni & cheese delivered from.

i don't make the bed for her, but i guess that's a good idea. i put a mint by the bed for morning kisses. |
I used to make the bed for my ex occassionally after I got dressed and he was in the shower.
he never did anything nice like that for me, other than the ONE time he started my car for me when it was cold (we were together a year and a half) |
